Advantages of keeping trimmings and saving trimmings from past harvests.

Well, today I found myself in a situation that rarely ever happens to me.. but it does sometimes occur. I woke up this morning to go to the Methadone clinic, just like I do every single morning (Except for Sundays).. and I thought to myself.. shit... I'm totally out of bud.. which rarely happens.. but does happen from time to time.

Well, I told myself.. "well shit, my Nirvana Ice plant only has two weeks to go before I harvest her (which she will have had a solid 10 weeks flowering in two weeks)" So, that's not too far away. But even then, I still have to cut buds off and hang them up to dry.. which takes another 5 to 7 days.. then curing.. which I cure my buds for a two period and call it good.. so its still a good month to a month and a half before I'll have any of that ready to smoke."

But then! EUREKA! I remembered that I had collected and saved all my trimmings from my past 3 harvests. Which is a TON of leafs and stems (not literally) but I bet I have a good 2 or 3 ounces worth of trimmings that I could use to make hash with. So, as I sit and type this.. I have about 3 ounces worth of trimmings that I have converted to ISO Hash.. and its currently drying. So sometime tonight I shall have a fair amount of beautiful hash to smoke on until I can get with my friend this coming weekend.

My point? Just trying to get more people to realize that saving your trimmings from harvests.. can add up quickly.. and will give you something to smoke on (once converted to ISO hash). The hash is very potent too.. just as potent as the bud.. maybe even a tad more potent than the plants that the hash was made from.

So again, if you have alot of trimmings from old harvests.. keep saving them.. and u can then use them as a backup in case you wind up in the situation that I'm currently in at the moment being.

anyhow, just wanted to share the importance of keeping trimmings. ;)

peace.

Yeah man! I got a crystal catcher which I've not emptied in the nearly 2 years I've had it...theres not a load in there, but theres enough if I ever need it. (I actually DID save my trim leaves for the first 2-3 harvests and froze them, but then the freezer packed in so...couldn't be bothered with it really, I've not got a big setup at all so there weren't that many leaves in there to lose - DO wish I'd kept them now though coz my first plants were REALLY covered in trichomes!)
