Already on it bro. Did all that yesterday. I notice if you soak the filter cubes in a 10% or so bleach solution that it really makes it easy to get rid of all the little stuff on there. Then I run it under hot water and scrub it with my hands. I get 99.9 percent of the stuff off it. Then I leave it soaking for another couple minutes in fresh 10% bleach solution. Then I rinse the crap out of the thing. Like for probably 15 min or so with cold water. Then I put the pump all back together with the hub and run it in a bucket with clearex for a couple hours. That really cleans it out and removes all the toxins and salts from the pump assembly. Then I put it in a bucket of pHed water at 5.8 and leave it in there overnight.

Rose, I started my new journal. I'm trying to be specific as possible with tons and tons of pictures and little tricks I've picked up that I don't really see anywhere else. Even stuff I've kept to myself and never mentioned for fear of confusing some of the newer growers. I'm trying to keep the comments off it for now. But please swing over and check it out! In my sig....

I've done a couple grows using Fox Farm. You don't use H2O2 with any type of organic nutes and your Fox Farm veg. nutes are all organic. It kills the micro-organisms in the solution.
The 76 degrees is not ideal but is still in the upper acceptible range. Maybe blow a small fan across the tank body to cool it a few degrees.:peace:
I agree h2o2 isnt compatible with FF. I didnt mix it in the nute solution, I soaked the remaining root stubs in a h2o2 water mix for a few hours to treat the root rot.

Allow me to stress or emphasis this:
A water pump can harbor dead debris, and crap that really screws up the pH. Give your water the sniff test to determine if the water pump is spoiling the water. It should smell like fresh cut lettuce or alfalfa sprouts, and not stink bad. Most all water pumps have a filter in them tht needs cleaning after two weeks, or get the pump out of there after 3 weeks.

I ran two bp systems but I ran a perpetual grow with clones from the first grow feeding the second grow. Looks like we will be firing at roughly the same time this go round! I'm in day 2 from seed crack and one day in the propogator with a humidity dome under 2 - 42 watt - 5000k cfl's. I actaully turn on my 250 hps for warmth last night and turned off my blower. It's about 10 degrees below normal here but too cool is easy to fix!

Nice man. I'm right there with ya MC. My seed is struggling, and looks like a runt but I'm determined not to let her die. I want White Rhino... Going crazy trying to get her to start growing... It's hard looking at a sprout. It's like you have to work with nothing to do something. They can't have anything at this point other than light and air. You just gotta play with those variables.
