Advanced Nutrients Ripping off GH and everyone else

i am for neither side because i have yet to use either 1.but can we look at the derived from?they are somewhat different.so they are not the same.
 
lets hope even if they are ripping other products off ,is that me and other people using them get good results with them for the price they cost..

Don't worry man they make a quality product. You'll be fine with them. The issue is mainly that you can get products that work just as well at a fraction of the cost from other companies like, GenHydro, Botanicare, DynaGro etc. Once you start realizing this you'll notice how bad AN is gouging people pricewise and most likely it will leave you with a bad impression. At least it does most people, that's why you tend to see so many harsh words regarding AN and big mike by the people who used to use their products. :P
 
nice one banditt gunna try dutch master or bio bizz next time was thinking of doin this time but saw the crazy labels and price and thought the dearer the better...more money than sense lol
 
Well I must admit got hooked with the advertisement and an acquaintance who uses AN and purchased the 3-part and Overdrive, now I must admit this is my first grow. I also have GH's 3-part which I will be using next and from the posts in this thread I will surely have to try DG.

So far the GH 3-part is doing my ladies wonderfully so I cannot bad mouth the product as I have no prior experience with other nutrients to compare, but they are pricey.

I would imagine that a lot of the hoopla surrounding AN is just marketing, and like any other consumer item a small amount of research should be done before purchasing, I relied on some ones word and after a few grows will certainly be able to judge for myself the quality:price ratio. Now reading these post I would imagine I will most likely come to the same conclusion as many of you more experienced growers have come to realise.

Big Mike seems to actually be boasting that Jungle Juice has exactly the same ingredients as GH's Grow, Micro, Bloom. Why? In order to show that he can afford to sell the product 40% cheaper.

And that just shows that GH is overpriced. Everyone's accusing AN of being overpriced, but this video with Mike is showing exactly the opposite. And even the pH-PPM Perfect Grow, Micro, Bloom (a non Jungle Juice premium product) costs one dollar LESS than GH's Grow, Micro, Bloom.

Also, Jungle Juice is not only 40% cheaper, but it's also purer and more consistent. Sounds like GH is just running scared to me.

Whats REALLY funny is that they pull this shit on everyone BUT no where on their website do they state that AN is designed for cannabis. Hmm I wonder why none of their "official" print and web media contains anything about cannabias, its always through proxy sites like Growers Underground and Big Buds Mag. Oh and if AN is formulated and tested on Cannaibs because they say cannabis need a specific nutrient requirements why does their site only show tomatoes and flowers? Wouldn't they be doing their customer a disservice selling them nutrients designed for Cannabis when they want to grow tomatoes and flowers? After all you can't get the best yield out of regular hydroponics nutrients according to AN so why would they advertise their nutrients on their websites for Tomaotes and Flowers.

Whats even funnier is that on Rose Bud Magazine Fat Mike always says "High Value Crops" So what are these magic High Value Crops? And why does AN create nutrients for these unnamed "High Value Crops"?

So were back at these un named high-value plants. What are they? According to Big Mike they copied an inferior product not designed for high-value plants BUT if you grow these high-value plants you can buy the inferior GH Flora Grow-Micro-Bloom copy from AN for 40% cheaper. Yes sir Advanced Nutrients will sell you inferior nutrients but at 40% cheaper than the leading inferior nutrient competitor. WTF?

If I said "AN sucks" than I'd be contributing to people awareness of them but I laid it out pretty clearly what they are about. Anyways if you are retarded, don't want to learn how to actually grow cannabis then go ahead and buy AN.

Buying AN has nothing to do with learning about growing marijuana. A person who knows "nothing about growing" can go and buy another brand such as GH and have the same problems if they bought AN if they didn't know about PPM, PH, res temp, etc.! What buying AN does have to do with is wasting your money on overpriced base nutes and unnecessary additive as well as supporting a company that has pathetic marketing tactics that include bashing the opposing nutrient brands and copying recipes from other companies. They are good nutes, but nothing special and in my opinion no better than nutes that cost half the price. I made the mistake of spending the money on AN and a few of their additives but I won't make the same mistake again. Can't wait to try Dyna-gro!

Totally agree. I did the same damn thing. AN is nothing special. just got some DynaGro myself a couple weeks ago;)

i love AN it does awesomely for me and my friends that i turned onto it have all seen similar improvement so i recommend it to people that are open to trying new things. i got a buddy that just wont listen to anything that is not about GH so i dont push AN on him. he knows what i use, i know what he uses, and we just accept that.

calling him a retard because he uses a different brand of nutes doesnt make my plants grow better or his worse. It would just make me a huge douchebag.

Advanced nutrients SUCKS! I grow medical marijuana and used to use their products, wasnt super impressed, then I switched to green planet nutrients...who are very close with GH. Since then I have bigger yields and the medi kush that it produces is freaking amazing. I been using a nutrient called medione especially and this shit is awesome, it won 1st place in the toronto treating yourself expo by my buddy john B for producing the best medi kush when AN came third with their bubba kush, HA shows them! totally recommend trying green plant nutrients, or even just medione for that matter, u will not be dissapointed. BOO AN!

Actually it is a two way street. There are a handful of intelligent growers on this site who inform the beginners that they don’t need to overspend on bases and boosters. Then there are the AN users who say stuff like ‘...you pay for what you get’ or ‘...that stuff works, but it’s not made for cannabis’. Your group of AN pushers which includes you, motherhugger, sensibowl and Bigtoms is encouraging the inexperienced grower to overspend on nutrients. Why do you take such offense to consumers warning other consumers of rip offs?

I also find it interesting that none of the guys in your group have any grow journals or pictures of your plants. I may be a broken record with the products that work for me but at least myself and others can back up our statements with documentation and intelligent conversations ;).
