I would just follow the directions and if to strong, flush then back off a bit with it. Never ran that formula. I use Advanced Nutrients w/Big Bud at recommended dose from a print off from their website. Works for me but I'm always down to try different nutrients.

Hells yeah. Advanced Nutrients is great with the Lucas Formula. But I think you need to measure it per liter per gallon. There's a great calculator on the Advanced Nutrients site that you can use, though I'm not sure if it runs all of the different feeds.

All I do know is that you do want to use a little less than the recipe says on the bottle - about 1/4 less than you think you are supposed to use. Also, and I think someone else already said this, but you really need to watch your plants in order to know whether you are giving them what you need.

You need to watch the growth and the color more than you need to think about how much you are using off the bat. your plants will tell you how much you should or shouldn't be using.

Personally, though, I would try to get to an all Advanced Nutrients schedule since mixing two different kinds of nutes is not always the best idea. I've found I have more problems when I mix up things. Sometimes different brands of nutes just don't work well together.

With most strains, 2000 PPM is not harmful, just make sure your ph and ppm are in decent ranges...and monitor your plants to see how they react.

Shouldn't be that difficult.

Thanks for all the solid advice did some math and factored all of your help into the equation the package states 1.5 tsp of powder per 5 gallons thats .3 tsp per gall if i go just under what they recomend i would be sitting safe at .25 aka 1/4 tsp then if no adverse effects show then i will walk it up to its max acceptable limit. now jumping forward i added 1/8th tsp to my rez yesterday see if that caused any burns they look just dandy atm so im not too worried about stepping up to 1/4 on thurday when i do a rez change. all this sound like im on the right track?
