Advanced Nutrients are in :)

Ok my babies are now 2 weeks and 1 day old. Living off of only distilled water and 24/0 light. They all look wonderful. G13 looks alittle week but it was able to anchor itself down really well. When I add the nutes is it a good idea to drain the water and put in another 6 gal of distilled water + nutes? or can i just mix the nutes with some distilled water and add it in there?

Yeah, if something is anchoring down, that's something that matters more than what the plant looks like. If it can continue to grow, then things will be fine, I'm sure.

As for what you want to do with the feeding, well, that's up to you, I think. I think draining the water and adding in new nutes and water sounds like the best option, but a little wasteful.

I think that if you can keep the same ratios of the water and the nutes in the reservoir, then adding in more of the same solution to top it off makes sense too. But, in my opinion, that seems a little tricky. You'll need to check the ppm in the solution to make sure you're not messing things up.

In the end, it's really what works for your plants and what works for you as a grower. Everything else is just someone else's opinion....

well what i did was i added the nutes to the water last week. it says to add nutes once a week because its a low amount. so this week i changed the water and washed the tub because it was alittle slimmy. I dont have a water tester and i did not test the water with the ph strips so i know the PH was off. i need to watch that.
