Thanks for the advice, I waited until I saw about 15% amber which was at about day 74 of flowering, here are some close ups.View attachment 3512703View attachment 3512704
That's doesn't look "unusable" by any standard. After those pics the mocking comments went silent. And the guy repeatedly insulting you assuming you are some bratty wannabe thug slanging in the ghetto, what a dick move!

AN marketing rubs me the wrong way, their prices are pretty high, but it seems like it works when used correctly. Keep up the good work!

Look here. There are several people out there that I respect their grows and growing.
I do not respect your nutrient line choice! FUCK AN!

AN is the Scotts or Monsanto of cannabis nutrition...period!

Does it work, Yes....

Yet En Ways, you miss the point. ANYBODY can do just as good and better then AN with far less overpriced and far less bottles of things marketed in "tiers of quality!"

Not to long ago ol' Big Mike PAID let me say this again, PAID High Times for doing a feature article on his company and their "future." This included claims of yields in the 3 lbs per light zone. Folks, it was NOT the AN products that made that possible.. It was specific styles of hydroponic growing, under specific lighting and what they didn't tell you is that these people doing this. Could have done the same damn thing with other nutrient makers products!

All this multi bottle additive and supplement stuff is simply smoke and mirrors to get you to spend way more then you need to do a job that doesn't need those things, in those orders, at those times to do what others do with those things...basically, already in the bottles...

Can you improve some by selective additions at the right times? A bit. Tends to involve advanced plant care just as much as any additive/supplement you would use.

I will say that by following the use of AN products at the values and rates they give, for the time's given.... I would like to see real reports on THC concentrations. I suspect AN's to be lower then other products on the market. Of course wise use by savvy, experienced growers would change that result. With some changes to what, when and how much....That may hurt AN's precious yield claims a bit.....But what are you really growing for anyway?

AN has, with this marketing practice. Forever changed the way nutrients are bottled and sold for MMJ growing, any MJ growing for that matter! All the other makers have had to change how they do some business. Simply because people now believe that you "need" multi bottle lines with a shit ton of supplements/additives to grow the "Biggest, Baddest" product out there...
The perfect example is Dyna Gro. They HAD to go multi bottle from demand by ingnorance and loss of market share...To shady bull shitters, with nothing really in mind but to make money from YOU by convincing YOU that you "need" to use "their products, in their order" to get the "best" results....

Even Big Mikes head Chem engineer left his shady operation. He came up with a nice basic line of products. In development, He got so much feedback on why he didn't have the multi bottle lines of things he went ahead and changed and added things he, well, simply didn't need to do...

Feeding a pile of unneeded supplements/additives. Does not make anyone a "master grower!" That, is experience and experimentation, gained over time..... Even reading proper books on the subject will get you farther then using AN products in the long run...

So many products simply make me shake my head....Mills pays the bills, Heavy 16, H&G (blah), Cyco.... Man, when you go to a trade show. What do you see? The big new guy, out there making the big promise and his booth is surrounded by drooling newbies and hypnotized mass's,. All trying to get their hands on the freebie kits they are giving or even raffling off...

Jeez, I got old video's I took at at the Novi shows some years back of Cyco raffling off kits and people going ape shit for them....Some bitching about not getting one in anger to extreme sadness.. One girl was so upset (and cute) That I gave her one of the 3 sets they GAVE me the day before for business owner only day...
BTW...Yes, I used one of them. Not that impressed as to spend on any kind of change to their products. I gave the other away too. That guy didn't change either....Ok, so I don't do hydro anymore either...so what?

Back when I started growing.... You had the choice of Jack's/Peter's, MG or organic, mix your own....Not to mention the Epsoma and other premixed veggie and flower granulars. To be honest with you. You simply can't get any cheaper then Jack's or making your own mix... You can do just as good if not better by either, AN or any of the multi bottle, big money crowd of products on the market. Yes you might add a little of one or 2 things along the way (except in making your own organic mix) but, still cheaper by far then running the full lines to be "MASTER GROWERS" by anybody else's watered down, multi bottle, way to many unneeded supplement/additive suggestions to be something your not, , yet...

AN changed the market. Not in a good way....Scott's of MJ growing! They are looking, down the road at genetic manipulation. Big Mikes own words....THAT makes them the Monsatan of MJ growing!

Again, AN works...But I don't give a shit!

Choose wisely...

My cats took turns trying to bury this thread in their litter box! I can't buy enough litter for them to do it!

I think another thing these companies have done is make people think they need to run 1200-1800ppms. When I first started I followed the direction on the bottles of floranova, flora micro, bloom and grow etc... I could never understand why my weed tasted like burnt shit. I now barely get pass the 600 mark, even with bigger plants.

The people that follow those charts are posting in the "Marijuana Problems" forum thinking they have a deficiency. There is never a shortage of posters telling them to add this or that. The problem is usually too much stuff. Most try to solve issues by adding more when less is the correct remedy.

You just don't need to run that hot of a feed. Especially a substrate like coco coir or peat mixes. Or even rockwool. And drain to waste. You want to feed light..and often. Maybe in recirculation systems but I havent ran those in years. I have a dialed high performance sealed and supplemented room running a bunch of double ended hps fixtures and I still don't need to feed higher than 1.5 or 1.6 EC. 1.2 or 1.4 for most cultivars actually.

I stay in approximately the same ranges as you. Even then I start to notice over feeding with some strains.

Holy War and Peace Batman, you wrote a book. I try lots of things - in fact I am not a fan of AN Price, Marketing and hidden online ingredients. I was given their organic line and have been using it on a few plants and just noticed the ORGANICS is not PH PERFECT - not a big deal for me as we have safety nets in place to catch this kind of thing. I need a nap after reading this post.

Anyway my preference on Nutes is dry and in bags (Happy Toad and Coast Maine). i am a fan of adding top soil mix as it grows. If i need to adjust any small thing I have used Humboldt Nutrients Organic. Problem with organic gardening is the long delay from adding-breakdown and plant use.
Had to inform with truth.....;-) ;-). No details, nobody listens..:wall:
Well Snot, I'm 60 and had to take a nap after writing it... LMAO.....
