Every build project has it hiccups and unexpected mishaps ,this build was no expectation. For me the largest issue was ups and usps. Yes the parcel service and the post offiice. Both companies drop the ball on rhe deliveries. Ups signature requirements make for some long days and nights waitng for packages just to get a notice that had tried to be delivered st 9 oclock while you were sitting on the porch waiting for them . One guy actuall parked in front the house for 3 mins never got out and drove off with my package as i was attempting to walk to his truck to get my stuff. He told me it was heavy package so he was gonna drop a few more off then come back to my house lol yeah right.
Then you have usps. Who decided it wasnt worth there time to even attempt to make a delivery. For most of there packages i had to go there at 8 in the morning and just wait fornthe truck to unload and get them with is far from the priority mail service that was purchased. The other issue was equipment, one of the lights didnt come with hangers making it impossible to hang anothe light came with a 240 plug instead of a 120 like the rest. Ordered a co troller from ebay that didnt work( i should have known better lol) and im still waiting on the main hose for the autopots that didnt come in with the other stuff. And the aeroponic system was missng parts. Though it didnt stop the grow it did slow it down waiting for replacement parts but all in all the delays were minimal.. so with the clones in pots and everything just about set up this is what everything looks like.
Very professional looking. Thats what ld do if l had money. Then again maybe not.

Diamataceous earth is good topdress to get rid of bugs, can be watered down and sprayed also, conains silica cytocynines kinda drunk and tired, and might mess things up a bit, squirt of dawn blue dishsoap and baking soda to rasise ph or something to lower ph levels, burn bugs not plants, ld lower ph to 5.4 for spray. When dry it leaves powder on everything but cuts bugs to ribbons. I rince after2 days and continue till clean. Easy for few alot of work if many. If you suspect them dont go To flower veg till gone. In flower they control the grow, not you.

Well its been vaout 10 days since last post and the girls are doig good. Had and real issue with spider mites but intinknit under control with the neel oil. And green cleaner organic insecticide. After on treatment all plants were cleat of the mites expect three. I will mix a gallan and dunk all the plants in it for a complete foliar treat and if we can kill then all then when i schwazze the leaves ill dunk it again

May 12 i did some defoliation to remove all the foliage that had mites and egggs and to start the canopy training process. With most of the girls at baout 15 inches tall ill start talking all the top shoots so they can start filling the space laterally. Today ill be setting up the trellis nets and deciding if ill weave the branches in to maintain my desired height or just top at the desired height until it spread out like i want. What do yall think i should do?

Looks good Broclee!

How high above the canopy are you keeping your lights? How big of an area does each light cover?

So the lights are 7 feet from the floor and i havent had to move them and shouldnt have to move it unless if i flowere at where those white pipes are. I took a few pics to give you and idea of the ppfd at different distances from the light. 36 inch over a 5.5x 5.5 is the medium size recommendation. The largest is canopy size is 6.5 flower and 8ft veg

I decided on the 25th i would do some topping and defoliation and clean up the canopy some. For starters i pruned out all the sucker branches and lower branches that didnt look like they would make canopy height. From that point i lollipoped them some and thinned out the canopy. The goal was to get a flat table top canopy and i think i achieved that.

Seven days after a full schwazze and look at that , doesnt even look like i stripped them at all. Pretty much all the girls have stretched 5 inches and i have installed the trellis nets for about 15 to 18 inches of stretch. Vpd is set at 1.09 and nutrient e.c is 1.8 with a ph of 6.0. Ambient air temp is 87, leaf surface temp is 83 and the humidity is 66. Their are still a few spider mites but they are well under control with green cleaner and ill be adding general hydroponics azamax to my lineup of weekly pest prevention protocols.
All and all the grow is humming along pretty well and on track to be a bumper crop.

Broclee what are you doing with the trellis netting. Are you going to scrog it or is the trellis just for support.

My question mark isn`t working, sorry.

Hobbes well i wont be tying them down to the net if that's what you mean. By having closer plant spacing i can get the same canopy as if i used few plants and scrogged them except i faster. Ill be using the trellis as more of supports so they dont fall all over the place and so they can direct energy into bud growth as opposed stem growth needed to support big buds

Monday came and went I guess what I didnt schwazze the girl like I was suppose to. I did finally get it done though the next day 24 plants 5 x16 space and almost 8 hours later I had all the fan leaves off. Some colas are already 13inches in height and the node spacing is an inch or less pretty much every Square in the trellis net has a cola growing in it. I'm predicting 2+ pounds per light for a minimum of 8 pounds. We will see though.View attachment 4930006

Update day 27 is in the books they have slowed down to a snail's pace as far as stretch and buds are form quite nicely trichcome have started developing too. Added one more 1000 phyto max for a total of 4200 watts. So we looking at 52 watts a square ft now. And they are loving it. With all the work pretty much out the way until harvest I guess I'll start building the veg space and getting these Barneys farm seeds started and vegged out in the next month. Gonna see if we can get a perpetual garden going

Day 37 and the girls are looking good. The sativas dont like the right nutrient mix but the gold leaf seem to be loving it. Trichimes are starting to grow aroma picking up and they are selling just alittle the light was at 43 inches but I lowered to the recommend 36 inches to see if that effects the uptake of nutrients with the sativas. Germed all the barneys farm seeds and a few others as well for a total of 27 to be put in the new veg space with will serve to feed the flower space. The tent will used for autoflowers so in between the 2 month flower cycles I can still harvest once a month. The plan is in place the room and equipment is in place now let's see if we can get this plan up and running with me luck20210708_101212.jpg20210707_071321.jpg20210705_083453.jpg

Hey guys well at weed 6 and boy what an adventure it has been. From problems to mishaps the grow has had its issues and continues to. Latest issue is the satires are really finicky about their feed and the indicas are just loving the extra food. Well the sativas started showing signs of excessive nutes but the indicas were OK. Problem is they are all hooked to the same feed tank. So I decided to play with the pro controller and make own note recipe to solve the problem well long story short i locked up the sativas and ended up with a nitrogen excess a potassium deficiency and a phosphorous deficiency. Because "ain't no way I could have fed my plants wrong" I miss diagnosed the problem as wind burn and next thing you know we got Necrosis and yellowing everywhere. I get my handy sledgehammer flush from foxfarm and flush then and they look better. Day later I put them back on the tank with recommended dosing. Two day later same problem SMH. What could be happening. Well after a day of literally hanging in the grow room I figured out the problem. VPD.
