adding a drying room? tigher and more dense buds

im looking into adding a drying room to my garage as my first 5 plants turned out dryer then i wanted and dried way to quick as i just hung them in my main room which almost always has light and consent door open and closing so im looking for advice to get my buds tighter / more dense how should i do it, ill be adding a dark room with little light to keep the plants in for 48 hours piror to harvesting as well can someone give some good advice from cutting to drying

Make a room that you can control the temp and humidity in. Some people hang the whole plant I find it easier to control the moisture removal process if the buds are removed from the stalk cutting them off an inch below the last bud on a limb then hang them on a wire at 74-76 degrees and 45-55% humidity (play with these numbers see what you like) after hanging it should take 5-7 days to get them to the point where the buds are ready to be clipped off the stem they should be dry to the touch but still pliable not crunchy the stem where the bud connects to the stem should bend without snapping but shouldn't be limp and then do your cure.
