Aching Jaw After Bong Rip

I've been smoking for years but never had an experience like last night. I ripped a bong and admittedly took a bigger hit than I was anticipating. After several minutes, I was sitting on my couch, working on my computer and eating a cookie when suddenly my jaw just felt super exhausted and achey. It wasn't like a toothache, it was like muscle fatigue but I could feel it right down into my gums. I figured it was a psychological effect of getting too stoned and other than that, the high was pretty euphoric. The jaw exhaustion faded after about 10 - 15 minutes. I was just wondering if this was a common occurrence...if it has a name...things like that.

Yea dude I'll have some shit like that happen every once in a while. You prolly over worked your jaw in the day or two before but didn't notice till the weed over sensitized you. Quit eating so many cookies!

Sounds like you've been sucking lots of dicks! I'd stop sucking dick if it was causing me some sort of discomfort.

That muscle in the mandible can get real sore from something as simple as a bong rip. It'll heal. I had a dentist do some work on my teeth and the bitch left me with something called TMJ. Lasted for months but eventually went away.

Dude you're just getting old. Shit happens when you get older. There's a lot of older folk on here who know what I mean. That foot ache? The occasional spasm in your fucking jaw? The insanely acute pain in your ankle? The shit that makes you gimpy for like three hours every morning until you walk it off?
