Ace of Spades

Here are some pictures of our Ace of Spades. She is trucking through the flowering stage and was only in the middle of her third week when these pictures were taken. The lower branches are starting to color in quicker than the top buds, but we are loving that dark color that is starting to shoot out from the inside of all the sugar leaves. She has a tangy, sweet-berry smell and we hope this flavor carries over to the smoke; we're thinking tropical skittles? We will be posting pics and updating as she matures.

We would love to hear some info with phenotype varieties, everyone's grow experiences with it, smoke reports?

Very sweet looking plants you have going, love the colors. I am running AoS for the first time and they are in veg. I just sexed them and got a 3/5 ratio of females.

Pretty buds. Good camera work. Favor us, what kind of soil and nutrients are you using?

I have a pheno that the bud stays green (even with organic fade and cold temps) but the bottom of the leaves turned purple. when it was growing it smelled like a scented candle/wax/berry/sweet . at day 58-64 the trichrome were cloudy, never turned amber.
easy to trim, besides the massive amouts of stick-icky resins pouring out of each cut. after a dry/cure it is TOP GRADE CANNABIS smells great, taste great, the high is "CRIPLING" "hits hard, than fades away" someone even asked "What do you think a non-smoker would think of the taste of this shit" . Ace of spades is the best thing in my garden. and I have really good strains

Soil and nutes- Advanced Sunshine Mix #4 for soil. Botanicare Pure Blend Pro base for both Grow and Veg. Supplement with Silica, B2, and Cold Pressed Seaweed throughout grow and flower. Boost with Bloombastic and Nirvana. Clean roots with Hygrozyme and Roots Excellurator. Finish with a 2 week+ flush of plain H20. Each plant gets its own dosing and schedule as far as feeding, cleaning, boosting and flushing. We're still working on what will work best for the Ace of Spades, but from what I can tell, she can take quite a few nutes and is pretty hard to burn (We will know more after our flower push, as we like to push them pretty hard) but she is also hardy when the nutes are scarce. She has never yellowed off for us or shown any signs of deficiencies.

KushDog- post pics, we want to see! Your pheno sounds amazing too. We have never been growers that look for color. When it pops up we are excited if the buds still smell and taste great and have a high potency. For us, a lot of the strains and phenos of color strains that stay green have a better smell/taste/high. We would be stoked to have found a green pheno as well and compared the two.

Hey JesseJames I have three of these that I just changed to 12/12 7 days ago. I have at least two pheno's , possible 3. One has dark purpling on the main stem, and the stems on the leaves. The other two are nice and green with slight hues of pink and purple on the stems. I'm hoping the buds will have nice color as they mature.

Do you have any updates from your AOS? I'm loving all the sugar on yours!

Here are some updated pics of our AOS. She smells like super sweet cherry candy. We're really happy with her progress! She is at the end of week 6 in these pics.

I have to ask .... do all of your plants have that vigorous resin production, or is it just your TGA gear?

I was browsing through your chernobyl pics as well, and both your chernobyl and AOS plants are absolutely covered in trichs!

I guess what I'm getting at is is this a genetic thing with the TGA strains, or are you supplementing your plants with human growth hormone or something??

Jessi J, Nice photos of your Ace Of Spades. I recently had the pleasure to enjoy medicating with it. Love the happy light feelings and concentration it gives me in the evening. Your is beautiful! I had more of a green pheno but the smell was kinda like a black cherry creme soda, the smoke was not harsh at all "very smooth and tasty on the exhale"!

Very dank looking. AoS is on my list for my next seed buy along with CheeseQuake. Looking forward to seeing the finish!
