Accidently uncovered tap root for a few seconds

Accidently knocked over the small soil cup with peat pod germinating a seed. The cup was picked up the tap root was visible. At which point soil was placed back on top. Would this kill the seed?

i think you're fine. i've knocked over my seedling cup plenty of times, they've turned out fine... so far.

The beautiful thing about "weed" is that it is a weed by name, and a weed by nature. As my dad once told me (the only useful bit of advice he ever gave me) - "It WANTS to grow".

Mine go in rockwool cubes under a propagator and CFL for a few days - even when I have bashed the propagate with my feet, rockwool is excellent for protecting those baby girls.

Not a problem. Look at all the people that germinate in paper towels until there's a 2-3" tap root then move it. Sometimes the root grows through the paper and gets damaged when it's removed. They're hardy plants. I tear my root balls open every time I transplant and I've never seen a plant go into shock.

HMMM lets see tipping seeds over, snagging a solo cup dwc and spilling it literally down the back of my neck haha that one suprised ya.

Spilling my Beloved scissor hash in horror.

Turining on a 900 gph pump with the drain valve open haha

Lots of fun..... 60 gal rdwc leackage mmmmm buddy ;)

I've had seeds germinate and actually pop out of the soil, root and all, and just replanted it with a stick for support. Was fine and grew like...well like a 'weed'.
Lesson...plant a little deeper.

Rotated a flowering plant and while working on another notice a real strong smell only to look up and see I just shoved a big old bud into a 400W bulb and toasted it to hell.

Watered all my ladies only to see I forgot to place the drain bucket back and drained about 10 gal all over the floor

Forgot about 2 jars curing only to find them weeks later, moldy as hell.
