My AC went out yesterday and im trying everything to try and keep it as cool as i can in my closet..i have 3 big bowls of ice in there with a fan blowing and the humidity is about 60 and the temp is 87..and i have the closet open to fan out the hot air..is there anything else i can do until i get the AC working again..it could be another day or 2 before i get it working again.

You should be fine as long as the temp doesnt get much over 100. We just went through a pretty hot streak here in Seattle, and I didnt have any issues with my plant being too hot... Moreso with keeping the humidity up in there.

Yup u can keep filling up ur Ice box with water coz u will need the ice. Keep up with the ice and fan and maybe bye another fan or borrow one if ya can. And keep the plant/s in the shade if u can. if i can think of something will let ya know. Watch the humidity levels though.

ya the humidity is like 44 right now and im trying hard to keep the temp down right now i just have one fan blowing on them and its 97 but usually its about 93-95

i just put three 2liter bottles with solid ice in there and i think that usually brings them down to like 85-87 but it doesnt last for long and its all i have at the moment we've been without AC for like 4 days..it sucks a guy came yesterday to fix it and then left saying he had to get a part at the store and he'd be right back but he never came..he was supposed to be one of my roomates dads friends but i guess not.

Yeh you deff need to do something to keep those temps down, plants are going to be very stressed, and chances of you getting a hermie are increasing. I would try the dry ice method.

Goodluck buddy, I hope everything comes out good : )
