Absorbing THC

This may be a dumb question, but would it be possible for a grower to absorb THC through the skin by handling his/her crop?
 
Well, I figured that one will not get stoned by it, but would it be detectable on a drug screen? How much must be consumed to get detected?

Not very much ... and it stays in the fatty tissues for 30 days or so. If they do it by hair sample, it will take a few months. Your best bet, if you are worried about a drug test, is to just stop handling or injesting pot.

No, it will not show up on a drug screen... piss test, right? You could even smoke small amounts... Like say get stoned on Saturday... piss test Wednesday, all should be fine. To do this though you must be cannabis free most of the time as a build up of cannabis in your system will remain detectable in your piss up to 30 days.

But no, I wouldn't worry if I were you.

Skunk ... are you sure about this? I'm not saying its not true, but it does seem to go against conventional wisdom.

I guess he/she could get a self-test kit and try it out.

I know this for a fact, I was there when it happened. I have much experience of piss tests... they are mandatory in prison.
 
Wow Skunk, that's news to me ... good news, indeed. I don't get tested, but I have a friend who has a new job and she is living in fear over the possibility of getting tested. Thanks ...

This only works if you are NOT a regular smoker. The sort of person that could go a month or two without a smoke. Smoking a couple of joints on the weekend should be out of your piss in a few days. Drinking plenty of water helps too.

Also in prisons you have to strip naked and piss into a temperature cup right in front of the screws. The reason for this is that many prisoners were putting salt into the cups... whereby the sample would be tested then thrown out as it has been tampered with. If you throw salt into the cup it messes up the tests and the sample is no good. If the sample is no good to test there's fuck all they can do about it... they need to prove that YOU put the salt in.
 
i had this same question/problem i took my last drug test for the outpatient rehab i was court ordered to and was worrying tha it absorbed i dont smoke or be around anyone who smokes for this reason but i handle it daily it was a little faint as usual but negative all the same
 
No, you cannot absorb THC through your skin. It's not like acid by any means. I used to be on probation and my probation officer said in order to pop on a test, you have to actually draw smoke off a joint or whatever and inhale it staight into your lungs, you could sit around in a room with all your friends smoking and not pop positive. Second hand smoke will not fail you on a drug test.
 
I've heard of people failing due to second hand smoke.

This girls boyfriend was quite the toker though, so it's pretty understandable. :p

how quickly would a niacin pill or 10 clear your system?

PS: Every time you breathe, you are inhaling the air that is surrounding you directly into your lungs. If, in that air, there is smoke that contains THC and you breathe enough of it, then guess what, that means you are breathing THC directly into your lungs. Naturally.
 
Sorry, for being a "muppet". If you can absorb THC through your skin. I'm sure it would only be a very minute amount. Not enough to fail you on your test. As far as the second had smoke, that's just what my P.O. said. I tried that excuse after I failed a "pop quiz" she gave me. I think the thickness and potency of the smoke must come into play, but whatever.
 
It is an excuse in jail... only you have to grass up the person you were sharing a cell with... an excuse though, all the same. Your P.O. lied to you.
