About to move into a new place (input)

First off i am new to these forums and this is my first post. I have a couple ?'s maybe some of you can answer. First off me and my gf are medical marijuana patients in California. We met with a lady today about renting her two bedroom house. She lives 2 hours away and seems like she is a pretty laid back lady. So me and my gf want to move into a 2 bedroom and grow our medicine indoors. We would be under our limit and know one would know unless you went into the bedroom where the grow will be this isnt my first time and the will be no light leaking and no smell WHATSOEVER i have a really nice big carbon filter. So i am wondering should we just move in and start our grow or should we be upfront with the landlord and tell her what we itend to do. I was thinking worst case scenario is she can ask us to move the plants since we arent breaking any state laws. Any input on this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Ps- This will be a 16 veg 16 budding setup under 2 1000 watt hps for budding and one 1000 watt MH or vegging.

if she dont ask , dont tell cuz then she may use it to her advantage by collecting ur rent then kick u out .
and plus she might come by and beg for ya shit

thanks for the quick replies. One other ? i have is what authority does she have as a landlord and me growing my crop since it is legal and legit.

not really being that it's her property i would'nt tell her cuz first thing might come to her mind is ur a drug dealer and will have everybody on the block reporting your every move..

then that will mean if u have a couple people cum over she will think it was drug related

keep your mouth shut, dont tell her or anyone else, seriously? u thought that was a good idea? wtf.

also the thing about cali is, you dont have to worry about the cops too much, but you do have to worry constantly about getting your crop and gear ripped off.

for all you know, she tells her [brother,father,boyfriend, a guy shes fucking, her next door neighbor, a guy at work] who is in the [hells angels, crips, unemployed, or just plain looking to score] and next thing u know, your staring down the barrel of a shotgun at 2 in the morning, with your own urine soaking your pants, before they zip tie your hands behind your back, beat you unconscious, and walk off with your crop and equipment.

use your head. this is a big boy game, you will get fucked up. there are alot of people out there that would shoot you in the head over a few lights and a pound of weed. don't be dumb.

User24 is all over this. Rule number one...THE golden rule of growing is to tell no one. It's so simple yet some think that rule is for others. You must adhere to this rule over all others or you will get fucked, both literally and figuretively. +Rep to User24 for giving good solid advice.

i understand everything and this isnt my first time growing no one will know. I was morea askin what my rights with the landlord are if she were to eventually see my crop. What can she do to me as a landlord

user24 you ever been to washington? cuzill be damned if you didnt describe to the nuts what happened to my very first grow 20 years ago.
only in my case it was me waking up tied to a chair with my own mossberg cruiser shoved in my face watching my grow and lights getting loaded out the back door.
and since it was the day before i was to harvest i can only guess it was the guy that owned the house that set me up.
noone else knew.
needless to say noone knows about my grow now period.
