About molasses????

can you just use any syrup like the ones you put on panckaes...cause isnt that what molases is???

no. the cheap stuff is corn syrup. you need pure 100% molasses.

damn ....i cant find molasses around my local marts...i think its time for me to go big..haha..like jewel osco,,hahaa,,

I have always heard that you should use only "Blackstrap Molasses", I personally use only Blackstrap because there is a difference between it and regular molasses, you also have to be sure it is "Unsulphured".

If you are unable to find the right kind of molasses in a brick and mortar store you can mail for it from www.goldenbarrel.com, the molasses itself is cheap but the shipping is kind of expensive.

I've tried them all so I can safely say any type of molasses is just fine. And if you can't find molasses, get the darkest/brownest sugar you can find.

I used very dark/brown sugar for my first grow and it went perfectly. Still, molasses is the best.

hey well thanks every body...but i have finnaly found the molasses on jewel osco..hahaha..but man it was a bitch going their haha..i live in chicago illinois and man let me say.. it usually takes like 20 miin away walkining from my house but man in chicago in the past couple of days it has been around -5 to like 8 degrees but today it was like 50 degrees wtf!! yea i was surprise idk how the weather went that crazy but let me say it was still a bitch getting their haha i dont have a car either..haha..but man today it was kinda a nice day to walk to jewel it was still a bitch to get their alll the snow has turned in to ice and my ass almost slipped like 8 times no lie.. not including my friends...plus the worst thing it was foggy like a motherfuker you couldnt see shit.. it was like 5 houses and you couldnt see shit... man i was scared as fuck to get hit by a car...but we made it back and forth..but the cool thing was that when we came back we got 4...12 packs of Mickeys grenade beers and we chilled ...so today was a good day....

P.S. i think global warming is real because in the past years it has never been around 50 degrees in december in chicago...so potheads do watever to save the Earth....im worried
