About BSLED led Lamps.

Hi guys,
myname is Federico (but you can call me Rastafeco anyways), I’m from Argentina, iwas looking for information and past experiences with the new models of BSLED growing lamps, I mean the Helios or the SP models or the new model CHLORO BA2225W, I had been growing with the common 160w rectangle panels with goodresults, but I couldnt find info about the newest bsled models. Does anybody try these lamps? Does the cost of the lamps worth it?

One of the better chinese panels IMO, failure rates are still much higher than quality built panels though. I would stick with the sp or helios and avoid the chloro as the leds aren't spaced out and can't be swapped with new modules easily. Are they worth it? not to me..........nothing worse than the panel failing during flower and you have to ship all the way back to china. look for a local supplier or have a backup plan in case of emergency.

Isn't their a high quality/locally built led grow company in all of south america??

well, I can repair the units here (we have repaired lot of BS panels) so the failing is not a problem. How about the results? Did anybody try the SP or Hellios models?
We don´t have an Argentinean LED lamp for flowering yet.

Sorry for my ignorance, but, what do you mean when you say IMO?

IMO......In My Opinion ......, sorry for that I forgot it's not your first language. well if you can fix driver/board/leds yourself than why not build your own panel with top bin leds/parts and have the best???????????

Yes I've seen one grower here use the bysen helios (raptor) panel and have good results from it. Not many finished runs with them and they have become "dated" now compared to these new smd (budzilla) type fixtures.
