My first 2 grows were with 100w total CFL bulbs. Each pulling 23w I had 4 of them. I ended up with 15g on each grow. Total. Half an ounce for 4 months of work. Wasn’t worth it. My 3rd grow was with a 150w sun system HPS and I used that all the way to day 50 of flower, switched my whole setup from closet to tent and upgraded my light to 600w and yielded 94g off one plant. Light definitely makes a HUGE difference

Like 24 hours on? I mean maybe a high electric bill lol. Normally during the summer my bill for electric runs about 200-250. With the light it’s been about 260-350. So there is definitely an increase in energy usage. Also, having a 600w in that little tent might be a little sketchy, but I’m sure it would be ok lol if you want a decent light for a small space the 150w sun system HPS did me pretty good! And they’re only like $50-60

Ah awesome guys thanks! So I have a light that's 1000w with bloom or veg light mode. I just have it in veg mode so should I lower it closer to the plants? (Currently at about 30 inches above) although it's a new light. The past week and a half it was a 100w led light.
