Abnormaly rootbound?

How often should I be transplanting? I'v been told, Whenever its rootbound. Alright so my plant is now 4 weeks old and within the last 2 weeks it has become root bound in a 2 gallon pot.
Below are 2 images of my plant. I am going to transplant into a 5 gallon pot. I am wondering if this is fucked. People have said as a rule of thumb, 1 gallon/ foot of growth, though my plant is about half a foot and alredy needs a 5 gallon pot. I am wondering if this is normal for plants? Maby it is a side effect of the superthrive I use at every watering? Please tell me what the deal is.

And that picture has alot of value to me.
It is an image of my first time ever being baked.
BTW my hair is actualy very clean, I just look like a greassy asshole because of how high I was..... And still am.

how big is that container?if its as big as i think it can go the whole gro in that container .,.,.,it takes alot 4 them to get rootbound.,.,.,ive went whole grows in the smallest of pots .,.,.,wat makes u think so?

I can't imagine roots filling a 2 G pot so early on. IMO, that's not the norm.
I doubt the SThrive is responsible, assuming you're within recommended dosing.
It might be helpful if you could post a pic of the roots?
IDK why it's drooping. Thirsty?
If that little plants roots have filled that planter, you're in for one hell of a ride, as in it's gonna be a big grower.
Wish I could help. It's easier to TP dry . . . wet soil tends to fall apart.
Good luck, HRF

there is no such thing as rootbound if you are properly watering/nuting/flushing/phing. There are tons of people on this forum that harvest healthy, mature/heavy yielding weed out of pots the same size as yours

Check that shit out.

Well I'll be damned . . . they are ready for a bigger container. Thing is, unless you have the hands of a large giant, that's not anywhere near 2 gallons, not even one.
Looks the size of a 39 oz. coffee can
You'll want to loosen those roots a bit, or maybe score them, when you re-pot them.
Great Scott!

That's what threw us off . . . the 2 gallons in 2 weeks bit. (or whatever it was) . . . THAT'S vigorous root growth, IMO.
