A51 W90s grow

My passion is more into growing than into technology, I bought AF600s 3+ years ago, paid premium for them and now its totally paying off! The most solid and reliable lamps I have purchased so far! If you look at my older journals from years ago, you will see that I have tried many brands over the years and nothing came even close to A51. As long as they build reliable lights that perform better than my growing skills I will stick with them. and also lifetime warranty to back their products...Thanks for you opinion though.

Day 45 or so, I am stoked!!! a great yield right on time for the holidays... The OhGod that is in the right corner of the room is about to come down, the plant with the smallest yield on this run, it has to do with the fact that she wasnt ready when I put her in 12/12, also might have over watered her a couple times... looks fire anyway. The rest should be going for 7 days or so I am still thinking of doing a double harvest on this canopy.

Merry Christmas everyone ho-ho-ho, In the coming week, I will start harvesting the garden and I will document it the best I can.

I was hoping to make a Christmas present to myself, a handful of 5000k w90s, but my elves, obviously, couldnt keep up with the demand at this time of the year. I hope they come up with new models in 2016, regardless, I am extremely happy with the w90s and I can not wait to get this grow over with and start again. @Eraserhead feel free to make my Christmas wish a reality lol, I could use some new veg lights!!

The runt of the bunch, Oh God, that one is will be the first to come down.
c.jpg d.jpg

The biggest plant in the room I am hoping for 5-6 ounces. 2 other plants in the room are from the same cut but not vegged nearly as long and did not do nearly do as good so I know right here I could have done better on overall yield for this grow.

First plant to come down, Oh God, the runt of the bunch. I have only chopped the upper part of the plant so far, nugs are dense, fairly frosty too. I am not happy to see some immature seeds forming on one of the picture I hope it doesn't mean they will be on all the plants. Some hermi pollen from the other flower room made its way into the test run room.

- in case you wonder why -- I had a light bulb on 24-7 in the other flowering room causing a lot of my plants to hermie, (silly me... the light bulb had been on for something like 2 months!!! I had no clue I always go when the lights are on) the air intake for this test round was from the other flower room so shit happens. The good news is all the seeds I have been finding in my buds recently are likely good to use. Also the buds I pollinated on purpose have darker more mature seeds so I can tell the difference between the fem seeds and the regulars.

Oh God

Don't forget she's in a 10 gallons pot, looks are deceiving she looked bigger in real life.
IMG_9990.jpg

small but dense, and this is my thumb...

close up with immature seeds :\
IMG_9994.jpg

I think she's gonna weight in at 1.5-2 oz including lower nugs. I am not going to put the lower half of the plant in the budding room coze the lower nugs are all ready.

I ll be back in a minute with pics of the second plant to be harvested...

This one is my current keeper at this point, Canadian Black Cannabis, CBC, results of crossing (Ancient OG X (Respect X Chemo)) , sometimes she smells kinda like blueberry and sometimes kinda like anise (black licorice) , wonderful strong smoke. Its definitely the best yield I have ever gotten from this cut and also cool thing is she was only in a 7gal nursery pot filled 2\3 up. That alone, regardless of the overall yield I get in this garden, is all I needed to see to be more than convinced that the w90s are in the garden to stay.

I only harvested the majorities of the colas so far, there is still a TON of buds on this plant, I am hoping for a total yield of 6-8 oz on that one.

After trimming, 2 clothes hanger on the left are the CBC and the one on the right is the Oh God

Again just showing the size of the colas, this is a regular bic lighter, not a small one...

same...

That's it for now, the Blue City Diesel is next on the list, she is probably the nicest plant I have ever grown, I will try to take her out of the room for a photoshoot.

I hope you guys enjoy the pics and let me know what you think of those nugs for a first test run under the w90s! THANKS!

Happy New Year, all the best everyone.

Hey GS, love the pic's, am also an a51 customer, wondering about your blue city diesel plants, are they from joti and can you guess at what height you put them into flower and how tall they were at maturity. Love to hear a smoke report. Very nice work.

Hey thanks blues147, BCD was from Jordan yes, second time buying a pack I was so impressed back then. I have a couple more females going right now. If you look earlier in this journal around November 4th is when I flowered it, it was pretty short but had been in the big container for some time and had been topped a few times to 8 colas. The 2 plants that yielded well in this grow had been in the big pots for roughly 2 weeks before putting them in the budding room. where as the other 3 plants were rushed in, my mistake...

I will smoke report it, you might be able to find some info on it in my previous journal in my signature, could have been in an older journal under Endur0xX username too... I am really looking forward to pop some beans I made with this plant I pollinated her with a male (Ancient OG X (Respect X Chemo)) AKA ''CBC'' from now on...so gonna be some fun pheno hunting. I have also pollinated some plants with one of the male BCD I got this round. MissJack X BCD

My MissJack was a cross of 2 highly medicinal strains, Pennywise and Senora Ampero, it was a long time ago now but I think both shared Jack The Ripper for parent.

I could go on and on, here is a quick list of new crosses, should have a fair bit of CBD in my strains now though I will try to keep some lines ''uncontaminated''

MALE \ FEMALE

BCD X MissJack
CBC X BCD
BCD X CBC
CBC X MissJack
CBC X OhGod

and from the major light leaks I think I got myself a bunch of random seeds with likely CBDGOD for mom-dad

I just bought a mighty vaporizer, anyone? I will play with it for a few days and let you guys know how I like it. I have the iolite collecting dust somewhere in the house and I have always been disappointed with portable vaporizers.

I am speed drying everything (dont want mold in my big colas, and there are so many!! humidity in basement is at 30% right now) I am hoping to have a total weight within the next couple of days. I am still hoping for a pound or more but realistically it will probably be a bit under, still hard to tell. Considering 3 out of 5 plants were not vegged long enough and kinda runt looking at harvest I think it was a very successful grow. I have 4 plants vegging under the w90s right now and I am thinking of trying another round for yield.

So what do you think of the lights so far? I'm gonna guess a thumbs up by those pics? I like mine a lot, although nothing is in flower yet. Great job bud!
