And that is because my wife, without checking brought her plants inside so they wouldn't freeze, and guess what they brought with them. A trillion spider mites! So what you are seeing I'm pretty sure,? Is neem oil.
Any other discussion aside, that plant is way overfed. Dark and shiny leaves is classic nitrogen toxicity.
And why just for my knowledge why would a plant look nice and green and shiny, ( actually very healthy looking to me.) Any plant that is, that has awesome green and shiny leaves

Green is gd. Dark green and shiny not gd. Like said already Nitrogen toxicity. U ever heard of to much of a gd thing which in turn is bad thing. Ex. Water is great for humans but drinking to much can kill us.
A bunch of Nitrogen can also give u bad leaf to calyx/bud ratio. Super leafy.
