A two part question about males and drying

Ok, so I'm a new grower and there's still a few things I have questions about despite all the research I've done. First, drying....what is the proper way to do it? Can you dry your herbs outside?? Second, males....so ok I know they are pretty much worthless thc wise, and everyone says to toss them...but what about edibles? Has anyone here tried to make edibles off a male?? Was it any good???

There's a whole tutorial on drying/curing on the site. just search for it. Leaving them outside to dry isn't optimal.

I have heardboth views on males, but I have never had one. I'd say if you have plant ripped out, why not give it a try?
