A twin?!

Hi all - first timer here - most of my seedlings sprouted normally and I'm happily (maybe obsessively) just watching them go / learning. One seedling came out split, two separate little ladies from one seed. Has this happened to anyone? What should I do? Happy to let it play out naturally just wondering if anyone's experienced the same and has any advice. Many thanks in advance.

Happens sometimes. It's more prevalent in some genetics than others. One of them will almost always damp off.

Thx for insight. When/if that happens, should I ditch them both? Isn't damping off fungus related or is it not in some cases?
Let it ride. One will usually survive and do fine. Rarely, they may both grow and share a root system, which will probably require you to do some staking/training to spread them out.

Verdict is on the way - sure enough one is stamping out the other one. This crazy covid world has made this 24 hour synopsis much more entertaining than normal lol.
