A Sexing Question....

I apologize if this was asked before. Do plants show sex while in veg??? I only ask because I thought that happened during flower?? But I went to adjust lights and I have a girl.... Any help would be great thanks.....

What you are seeing are preflowers. For alot of strains when the plants reach a certain maturity in the veg stage they will pop out a preflower or 2 per node. Many people beleive that these preflowers exist to tell you that the plant is mature/ready to flower and to help identify sex early.
