Just sittin here high as hell on my OWN (:hump:) weed... and I got to thinking... well you know how some strains are "Creepers" and others hit you right away. Well I was wondering what part of the plant and/or harvest effects this attribute. I've learned alot during my first grow and I'm curious about plant anatomy. I don't see how you can have a creeper kind of weed unless it depends on the THC content. Or maybe when it's harvested.. but how? Also, what exactly is the flower made out of? Is it like pods that could hold a seed if it was pollinated by a male or something? Thanks

smoke another one :joint:

its got to do with the strain all in itself. The anatomy of different strains bares the same traits as humans do with different races. people are all the "same" but different, same as with the strains. its different kinds on THC.

Its the chemistry of the THC in your plant and the way it individually effects us all as we each have different chemistry. I think i just said what thundakat said lol. I guess you could say strain and harvest time would most determine the effects of the THC.

I think it has to do with the type of THC in your plant, i think THC has two different molecule layouts (isomers), one that hits you really fast and another which takes some time to get to you. i might just be speaking crap tho, but i think thats how it goes.

Its the special time release thc in that bag Donnie. Takes hours to attach them. Got a couple extra clones if you are interested. Rearranged everything, well not everything, the door is still in the same place. VV

Chemistry

More than 420 different compounds have been isolated from cannabis and reported in the chemical literature. The most commonly described compounds are the cannabinoids [delta–9–tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabidiol, and numerous related compounds]. In addition, marijuana contains alkaloids, steroidal compounds and mixtures of volatile components. 5

thanks for the link fdd. it had some good info but you could tell that whoever wrote it was biased and didn't think mj was useful. there were several studies cited that directly contradicted recent studies on the benefits of thc. plus it said thc% only up to 4%

and i still dont know what buds are made of.

lol

sensemilia buds are seed pods that developed and swelled unpollinated with thc instead of the usual seed. the buds are like the fruit of the plant. think of each bud like a tomato but, without a cooperative male plant, the pistils, (little white hairs) fail to receive pollen from the male plant. so the fruit still shows up, but without the seed. just look at any bud you smoke... it's stem leaf and pod and hairs.... most of what your smoking are empty seed pods. so, that's the bud. and they are really really pretty.

it really hard to find actually info. the government has this way of keeping it from being fully studied. bastards.
