So if i have a jar of colonized corn can i just break off a piece and stick it in a new jar of pcooked corn? What could be the best way to go about it with out contaminating it? Just a quick toss?

you should have broken up your corn in the jar, and then roll some of those kernels into your sterile jar as smoothly as possible.

Best not to touch the kernels.

So i shouldnt freak about exposing the sterile batch to that second of air time? My corn may have been on the wet side but its starting to get white now. U said in another post to dry the corn for a day that seems to dry but this is better than too wet?

You should especially freak out about exposing overly wet but still healthy innoculated corn to the air - your odds aren't good that way. If you see any fluid at all in your jar or bag then count that bag or jar out for grain to grain, at least until you get FULL and I mean FULL lush coverage.

Something living on dry popcorn just seems weird but they tell me its alot faster if the corns dry?

Wait, I really mean moist, not dried out or cracker dry, remember you have already cooked the corn so it is full of moisture and because it is popcorn it is surounded by a rather thick layer of something that will be penetrated by the mycelium in time.

So what happens to kernals that were previously colonized do they get eaten faster and leave a dead spot since its nutrition is used up?
