A question about water, again.

I know a lot of people asking if its ok to use tap water or destilled water etc. Here is my question. I used tap water for my 2 previous grows. Its 350ppm default and 7.5ph. I use pH down to lower it to 6.0 or something like that. Well that worked fine. I had nice grows and yield. But what if they could do much better? There is a free water resource near my hometown, up in the mountains, a fountain which says `not drink water` but everyone is going to the spot to get their casks filled with water, we also do that. We use it for our food, tea, coffee etc. Its good natural water imo, 6-6.5 default pH and 35ppm. Water contains no chemical waste, no fabrics or companies around, thousands of km away from ocean, top of a mountain, all green around bursting with life. Must be good right?

Sounds like spring water. Would work but you gonna lug 50g drum up there and bring it back? 15mi of drip lines?

Down south they use pond water and styrofoam floats. Pond full of floating plants. Real Dwc. ;-)

Just build it up from there I use ro water and then build it you could have someone titrate the water to see what the actual content is but at 35 ppm of hardness doesn’t really matter use it build it basically softened for free
