A question about seeds

So I posted about a month ago in the general growing forum that my girls got stressed somehow and they all selfed on me. I got some great suggestions on what to do with the product...bubble bags rock!! I did get a couple of plants where the the smoke was exceptional. My questions is what to do with the seeds...especially with the exceptional plants. I really don't know enough about the subject other than what I have read. The way I understand it in essance, once a hermi always a hermi. But I read they use hermi's to produce feminized seeds. I really don't want to waste a whole cycle only to find out my whole room has been fertilized again. So...I'm doin some research to see if the seeds have any worth to them. The smoke those plants produced was awesome..flavorful and potent. Sure would like to try another go round with them if there is a chance I can get fems out of them. Thanks in advance for your help and education.

Lots of opinions on this and truthfully I don't know the scientific explaination. I have had a few girls hermie due to lights or whatever, but each time the when the problem was corrected the hermie traits stopped. So, I have grown seeds from these plants in the past because as you said the smoke was very good, so far out of 8 of these seeds none have hermied on me. So, whether the trait is a genetic defect for hermie or whether stress induced I don't know but so far so good.
The best I can suggest if you have the room grow out a plant or two and see what happens, the worse you could do is end up with another hermie, but if you take that pollen and use it for another female they say these will be feminized seeds. Always worth a look and you might be surprised at the outcome, in a good way.

They only use hermie pollen for fems. Your seeds will most likely carry over the hermie trait but it is not guaranteed so grow a few out and see what happens.
