A question about foggers

I've been doing some reading and saw a few posts where people are using foggers in their hydro reservoirs to feed the roots on their plants. . . I'm wondering how the plant can gathers its nutrients from this method? In nature when water evaporates it becomes DI (deionized) is this method flawed and people haven't realised it or am I missing something?

In this case, the water does not evaporate, at least not in "fog" form. The fog particles are very small, but the nutrients are still there. The fog is not evaporated water, it's just in a highly particulate state. This is a good method, especially for clones and seedlings. The tiny particles of water cling very well to the "fuzzy" root hairs.
