A pergola enclosed with polycarbonate and attached to your house -- assuming it's set up so no one can see in and it doesn't stink, no legal problems?

It's a little ballsy because it's illegal. But the pergola would run along the side of the house and connect to the metal garage where I'm already running indoors, and also connect to the house at the other end. There's a hose in the space where the pergola would be, and ~75+ amps (~60 amps would need a converter or different hookups). Also, it would be easy to leave a gap for ventilation, and then glue aluminum screening over the gap to keep bugs out.

I've been considering a high tunnel, but attaching straight to the house seems like I'd have more of a right to privacy (i.e., primary dwelling, not just curtilage). My neighbors are really into the 2nd Amendment ... I'm more of a 4th and 5th kind of guy.

Also, side-note, recently made the switch from phosphoric acid (pH down), to dry citric acid; and bought 4.5-8.5 pH test strips that have good contrast between 5.5-6.5 and 7.

Will it be blocking any windows, or should I say fire escapes from rooms on the side of the house? That could be a problem..

Good point. No walls covering the windows, they would open into the pergola. I think that's straight, but I'll look into it. Thanks.
