So I'm growing two Nirvana Blackjack feminized, one Sugar Black Rose and one Kandy Kush. I can't remember the seedbank the last two are from but they seem healthy so far. Im growing in a 8"x12" room with a 1000w lumatek ballast and reflectix on the walls.
My soil is FF Happy Frog soil with a little perlite and earthworm castings added. I have FF Grow Big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom, and some Flower Kiss. I also have some thrive alive(I realize now I should have went with B52) and some Cal Mag because Im using distilled water
I started one seed 2 weeks before the rest so its a little ahead of the others(I guess I was worried they would die and I didn't wanna wait on more seeds, so I did a test seed) . The oldest one, blackjack #1, moved from a 16 oz. Styrofoam cup to a 2 gallon pot about 14 days after sprouting and its looking great so far. The other three are still in their 16 oz cups. Blackjack #1 poked out of the dirt 22 days ago and it now has 3 nodes, so I guess its about 10-12 days into veg.
My first question is what is a good general feeding schedule for the veg state. I know I will have to learn my strain and make my own schedule, but should I wait to see signs of hunger before I start feeding or could I start 1/4 strength now?
Question 2: I bought the cal mag because Im using distilled water. Should I add it to every watering, just when I feed or just when I water. Also It recommends 3-5 mL per gallon. Should I be using it at 1/4 strength also?
And Im always open to any ideas on how to improve my garden. Thanks
