im back guys
i prepared the last 3 in their 7 gallon pots, and set up fences for deer. here are the pics...

this first one is a baby. im pretty sure she will do ok in a pot this big...her roots were all the way at the bottom of the 16 oz cups

heres another youngin in his pot

all three planted today (Plot A)

slightly shriveled and stunted plant (1 month old)

Plot B

Best Looking Female Award

well guys, thats my progress. I guess you can say the hard part about my grow is over. All i need to do from here on out is watch them carefully and water. Any suggestions on frequency of watering? The soil above 3 inches down is dry after 3 days. Should I be watering at this pace even though they are young? Thanks guys

next time you visit your plot, take a nice pee around your growing area, it wards off deer if you leave your urine it will spook them off. maby it is an old wives tale, but i always have to pee when i finally get to my grow site anyways =), so baked, and i will be following your grow! ill have to post some pictures of my guerrilla grow i started a little over a month ago! i think my plants started the same time as yours, march 15-20th i believe is when i put the seeds in the rockwool cubes

yeah because once the soil dry's ontop the roots will go deeper in the soil to find water so you want the water to pass the roots!

the last time i went to the plot was on wednesday (4 days ago), so im hoping theyre doing ok. I doubt 4 days without water is enough to kill them (anyone agree?). Maybe their root structures will just expand in search for water, which is what i want. I will be watering and taking pictures in about 2 hours, so i will update for you guys then.

Seems like only a few loyal friends expect me to yield anything. Im out to prove everyone wrong!

they should be ok with no water for that long as long as it is not been a stinking hot 4 days.
there roots will follow the water down,

and you grow some real thumpers and say to your friends i told you so:hump:

You can buy deer repellant at Lowes or Home Depot either in a pump up sprayer or in pellets. I use them both along with a home insecticide and use it about 5' outside of plants. Just seems those cages would really stand out from up above. Good Luck!

hey orange ,, my cages are better than ur cages!
stop tryin to brag haha. my cages do the job, and i will take them off when my plants are big enough to not attract deer

i dont think i need deer repellant, once they grow big enough i feel that the deer wont bother. plus, i will have pissed at the site quite a few times by then. Also, i am expecting the eyes in the sky to be floating around in july, when they are bigger and wont have the cages.

yeah man .. chicken litter has to be composted because it's a "hot" manure .. which means it can burn plants really easy.. i have chickens but i didnt use any shit for that reason ... think you could help me out with LST?
