So I want to start this out by saying if you intend to come in here and go "blah blah blah advanced nutrients scammers blah blah fat mike overpriced marketing blah blah" I've read it all why waste your own time. I agree they seem like a huge marketing company designed to make huge profit but hey this is the real world, people make profit thats kinda how the world goes round. In all the hype and marketing though there is a lot of B.S and its really hard to tell what theyre actually selling you and what it actually does so I would love some experienced advice.
I have never used a single AN product but through all the research ive been doing it seems a few products are/could be useful in my organic soil garden.
First is Nirvana, which from everything I've read is a very kickass organic supplement that should provide several benefits and growth enhancement during bloom. It contains alfalfa extract, L form amino acids, and two surfactants which I could use for my occasional foliar feedings.
Next up is Bud Candy. Seems to me to be molasses on steroids with cranberry and grape esters. I feel like everything in bud candy is useful but I have read people say it gives a distinct flavor to all of their strains and can actually ruin a plants natural flavor. I would probably use this rather sparingly but i feel having it may still be better than not.
Last on my list is Sensizym. I intend to reuse my soil at the end of each cycle(adding maybe 30% fresh goodness for the microbe colonies) and believe sensizyme would be great for breaking down all the extras from the previous cycle and giving me more rich goodness.
I would very much appreciate insight from growers who have actually used any of these products or know more about the usefulness of them. I have researched on multiple forums and for the most part all i can find is people who use a ton of AN additives and think every one is amazing and necessary but they havent tried NOT using any of them. Im curious in the value of each of these specific products not how they work in the whole AN lineup. These would be supplements to my BMO base nutes(which do an excellent job for dirt cheap btw but having almost finished this flowering cycle I can tell I need some kinda "boost").
While youre at it Im open to any and all organic bloom boosters and natural goodness recommendations, I am just in the mood to give AN a try and test out all the hype and positive/negative feedback for myself.
