A mind bending riddle

A man walks into a bar and asks for a glass of water. The bartender pulls out a shotgun and points it at him. The man says, thank you and leaves. Why??

Draw an S in front of the IX and it spells SIX. No one said the line had to be straight :)

The man had the hiccups and the water helped him stop it, and the gun scared him which also help stop his hiccups as well.

Man falls 500 feet out of an airplane, Man lands in the region near the great wall of china. Man walks 20 feet west towards africa. Man drinkings from the red sea. Man dies. How did he die?
 
Ummm since the red sea isnt near china and he took 20 steps Im gonna say he drank his own blood which is the red sea?????

If it takes six men six days to dig six holes, how long will it take one man to dig half a hole?

and as for my hard falling, china, africa red sea riddle of course it isnt near. Africa also isnt near china. Ok you gotta think out your mind you keep moving west.

Also, the man who had the backpack could have easily inadvertantly let a scorpion in which stung him, leading to his death.
 
It will take 1 man 6 days to dig the half hole as since the hole size is undefined its still a hole so 6 men can dig 6 holes in 6 days so that 1 hole for every 6 days per man so the 1 man will dig the hole in 6 days.gimmie some rep
 
It's impossible to dig half a hole. There's no such thing. You dig small holes: and larger holes: but no one digs half a hole.
