a little help with the stem would be great

hey guys well my little plant is going ok i spose but i still have a question about the stem it seems so small and is starting to bend over alittle at the top is there any nutes i can give it to promote stem growth or just keep it well lit up to promote vertical growth what do u guys think :wall:

ya mine are about twice as think as that and only 2 days old it seems your light is 2 far away what kinda lighting are you doing natrual sun> when i did a window light atempt it looked liek that and eventualy got 2 heavy 4 its own good but it seems just like your just lacking light put a 30+ watt cfl on thier and see that it dosent toughen up and if that works after they get a lil thicker and hold the weight better get a small fan on thier that will help even more
 
youngins need alot of light 18+hrs a day also other wise you start to get sum streching going on how old is she ;P
 
yeah its out side on the pourch getting natural light i bring it in now and put it under a 20w fluro which = 100w incandescent to top up the daylight hours its about 3 weeks old i think thanx guys for the info keep it coming
 
try to get a 24+ watt cfl if you can its the same as connection as a regular bulb screw in but very low heat can be like an inch away but i dont think fluros put out that great as a spectrum get a 6500k for veg and 2700k for flower cfl
 
thanx man i just went out and got a 24w/6500k cfl a different sorta light it is from the straight fluro energy savin bulbs i got it bout 1 inch away and im gunna blast them with the light thanx alot again:-P
 
np man just keep it about an inch or so away if u go 2 bed with it on just keep it like 1.5 inches away to allow groth so it dosent grab it and burn the shit lol but ya np i use a 24 watt and it works great u reli dont need more than that imo unless your going huge with shit loads of sun leaves lol but for flower id prob get like 2 going at least 1 for the top and 1 for the sides
 
and for flowering get a 2700k cfl lets just hope she's a girl now ill keep ya in my prayers if ya do the same for me lol i wanna see this hapen for you tommrow morning when u wake up :o:clap: from the diffrence from using a fluro to a cfl
 
I would get a small fan on it too. Just to create a light breeze, don't aim it directly at the plant. Just enough to make it sway ever so slightly at first. That will strengthen the stem. I bought a little 6" fan from WalMart that will do the job for $5.
 
im on here now when ya get up leme know how that worked out for ya mines startin 2 make that first set of fan leaves huge thier about an inch and a 1/4 accross now ;P
