My plants are growing pretty good I was wondering if I need to lower the water level bc they are at the bottom of the net pots and the roots are already about 10-12 inches last night if I lower the water will it spur more growth bc the roots want to reach for the water just wondering?

you can try it but if the plants are happy and growing fine you may want to leave well enough alone.

So I have the Flora Nova Series as well as Floarlicious Bloom and Grow do you think you could help me out with how much floralicious I should put in and I see on the GH website it says Floralicious Plus so Iam not exactly sure how much to use. Any help would be helpful also I have been measuring my tap water PPM and its more around 350-400 so what should I do?

Thanks for the help:peace:

i follow the website's feeding schedule but instead of Floralicious Plus, i use Floralicious Grow during veg and Bloom during flowering. with that high of PPM tapwater, i would avoid ever exceeding 1000 PPM or so - and in lieu of purchasing an RO filter, what i do is use Flora Micro hard water version. my tap water is right under 300 PPM.

Have another ?

I changed the nutes yesterday and I went out and got RO water that was 13 PPM and mixed a grip of nutes so that it said it was 550 PPM then I just testd it and It said 750. Is this normal? and i was looking at the roots and it looks like root rot is happening but I was thinking that the roots are just "dyed" brown from the new nutes can that happen? IF not what should I do I don't want my babies to get fucked up. I ve been trying to get pics on this but my camera is fd up.

So it is root rot my rockwell cubes are getting some green alage on them I dont know what to do I covered the cubes with a black plastic bag the best I could and I just put more hydroton in there to cover them the best I can what do you use to cover your growing medium and will root shield save the roots or just prevent more rot.

I have GH ph up and down and I keep it as close to 6.0 all the time and I check it often. I may need to clean the rez but I dont think its that. My airstone I believe is still clean. I went to a Hydro store and the told me that my medium is to soggy so I resticted the feedings a little. and covered the rockwool as well as I could with black trash bag and hydroton.

i've never used rock wool so wouldn't be able to help identify any rock wool related problems but for pH you should shoot for 5.5 - 5.8.

I was looking at my plants and it seems that there is either a nute burn or a potassium deficency in my leaves, look a little yellow on the tips and there are some small burn marks the lights are about 11-12 inches away so I don't think its that and its only on the lower leave, could only the older leaves burn from an old batch of nutes. Or would u think its a potassium def. ]

If its potassium do you know of anything to use to give it the care it needs.
