Well there millions of types. Its your choice i would go with a soiless mix which has peat moss perlight dolomite lime exe in it. Its like starting with a clean slate and you dont have to worry about those cheap time release ferts that come with miracle grow and other soils like that.HITH.

Nutes i would just go with advanced nutrients grow micro and bloom its pretty easy to use. Without nutes ur plants will be weak frail and worthless. HTH
