A Guide To Colloidal Silver

...Ended up making a Quart of it...If this is a success, which i see no reason why it shouldn't, I will make more and do the same for my photo Sour Diesel and Critical x Ice cross I have.
Good deal. I would think that with a quart, you could induce balls on a boatload of plants...you may not need to make any more for a while.

@whitebb2727, who recently posted a picture of some killer induced male flowers in hydroreds whorehouse journal, has said that he sprayed an entire plant (vs branches) for multiple days at the beginning of the flowering cycle and keep on until you see balls. And if you do this instead of branches, he suggested applying the CS to a clone rather than the entire female, so this may be something for you to consider. Looking forward to seeing your results.

Spot on.
I find that spraying the whole plant shows quicker than just spraying a branch. I also found that it works better if using from the first sign of maturity and the beginning of flower.

I've also noticed some strains just don't want to throw plan easily.

It takes a little trail and error.

I just got finished making my First batch of CS. I think it was a success. The little laser light shined pretty bright in it. I used a spare Ipod charger my neighbor gave me and an air stone to move the water around. Ended up making a Quart of it. I think what I may end up doing with my Auto flowering plants is make a diamond and put the tallest one ( one is taking off) in the middle and sacrifice it to the CS gods for the final outcome of seeds. The plants are two weeks old today and are about six inches or so tall so far. I plan on putting them in the ground in about a week and start spraying the sacrificial one when they about five weeks old. That should be about on target for the autoflowering ones to start their thing. If this is a success, which i see no reason why it shouldn't, I will make more and do the same for my photo Sour Diesel and Critical x Ice cross I have. They will be grown in two different fields. Cull the males and CS a few branches to make fem seeds out of them. Anywayz, wish me luck and thanks again for the tips you guys gave me. bongsmilie
Awesome. I'm glad to have helped out. As long as you make sure to thoroughly check for pollen sacs before spraying, you should be good to go. Good luck!

Ive read that plastic can cause issues.. is it okay for me to mix some up in a spray bottle, if its just for the few weeks Ill be spraying the one plant? Is it only a few weeks of spraying usually, or more?

When you buy CS it generally comes in plastic bottles so I doubt that's an issue. I store mine in the 4L jugs I buy my distilled water in. Running low so time to fire up the rig and fill a couple jugs.

:peace:

Can you use an eye dropper instead of spraying, so you just hit the bud site instead of the leaves?

Some people claim to get success with spot treatment, but I don't recommend it, since you want enough silver to build up in the plant's tissues, to have the desired effect. I recommend "flipping" the entire plant, and not consuming the buds, which likely contain silver particles.

I'll try both methods and see if there is any difference, thanks for getting back.

If your solution is well made, it shouldn't burn the plant, and therefore, spraying the entire thing would help increase the internal concentration of silver particles in the plant. Don't smoke the buds, though.
Hey hazy, did the Guardian of Eden solution work? I bought this stuff a while back and am about to try it .. I just gave it the laser pointer test and it didn't look good ... Figure you would know how well it works though ... Please let me know .. Really excited and nervous about this stuff.

My first failed attempt, I bought the real cheap CS and it was garbage, and it burnt the shit out of the plant, it was advertised as 30ppm. Next attempt I made myself and I'm sure I went to far. The solution was grey and cloudy, I filtered it twice but was never quite clear. It did trash the leaf but kept on growing, and did start to make balls after 6wks of spraying, but never popped open. I never tested the ppm, didn't want to stick the probe of my $250 meter into the shit.

I tried to find a pic but couldn't.

This time I bought "Guardian of Eden" LINK its made using hydrogen peroxide and not electrolysis. Their speal is the particle size is sub nano and small enough to be used on a cellular level. Who knows what the truth is, but it's the product I'm using. Even full strength at 120ppm it's perfectly clear but thicker than water.

I've noticed that the glands on the main stalk at every branch look like they are leaning male compared the the hairs on the untreated clones. Keeping my fingers crossed.
How did your attempt with guardian of Eden colloidal silver go? I messaged hazy but I didn't realize until just now that it was your post. Anyway please let me know how it went with guardian of Eden colloidal silver cuz I've already purchased it and I'm about to try it.

One of my favorites (UW) sprayed with 50 PPM that I bought off of Amazon. I put it into 12/12 and sprayed it once a day until balls showed.View attachment 4125588
I've been using guardian of Eden spray but so far all its doing is causing the pistols to shrivele up and turn brown .. Aside from that it's having no effect on growth or color . Kinda expected more by this point . . I've been spraying since 1 week before flower. They've been in flower for just over 2 weeks now. Still I'm only seeing female parts and I'm wondering if I should stop because at this point all I see is that I'm ruining potential smoke.

What was the brand name of the spray which was used? Also how much did you pay for how many fluid ounces?
Click the Amazon link in my post and you'll see the direct brand link.

I think success and burn are strain dependent. The UW responded very well to 50ppm

Did your girls look like this before they popped balls?

I wasn't expecting them to ever pop pistols but they did.

I'm not sure if this is going to work out. .

Any thoughts or ideas?
