Hello there in RIU land!! I'm here kicked back somkin a "jernt" wunderin where i could find a good water pipe. I've checked the local head shop and all there stock is sadly moderatly decent at best. I was mainly thinking there might be a web sight to order from any help is welcome:joint::leaf:
 
everyonedoesit.com has tubes you can order from them and they ship all over the place. I have used them before, gotten my shit every time.
 
Depends where Down south is...I was driving to austin and stopped in a little town south of there called San Marcos...we were bumming around there little downtown and we got are papers wet in their bad ass little river. anyway we went in a headshop called high times, and HOLY SHIT!!! The whole back room is artist quality glass!!! fucking-A i wish i had a camera there!!! so if you want to see some outrageous Glass check and you're between San antonio and Austin hop in the river and head to high times.

speaking from the point of view of a learning glass blower myself, a lot of the shit that is passed off as good bongs are shit.

if it doesn't have a diffused downstem, don't get it. making diffusion holes takes 2 minutes at most, and it improves the quality of the smoke by 500%. if you have a lot to spend get a toro or an elevate bong. an inline bong will blow your mind if you can find one, but they are relatively rare. my advice would be to find an aesthetically appealing bong with a diffused downstem and just get high lol. once you've hit a diffused, you'll never go back.
 
Amen to that!! I though I knew what smoking out of a bong was untill I used a diffuser. Love them.
 
pardon the ignorance, but what is a diffused downstem? have a link to one with a picture?

a diffused downstem is a female part to the bowlpiece (the part that actually goes into the water, that the slide goes in and out of) and instead of having one large hole at the end, it has that hole, and before that, it has little holes along the sides. sometimes it doesn't have the hole on the end, but in my experience it is helpful to suck ash through instead of cloggin the small holes. The concept is that the smoke will travel through the water in many small bubbles instead of one large bubble, therefore filtering and cooling more effectively.

notice how there are little elevated rings around the holes? this shows that they are blown. I am not 100 percent sure, but i'm almost certain that the slitted diffused downstems are cut using lasers. there is no way you can blow a straight line opening in glass.

one's in euros and one is in dollars. lol and it's like a difference in figures of like 30, not 143. but regardless of that, if you factor in the exchange rates, i'm sure they would be close.
