A fortified molasses for finishing and foliar?

For finishing I was going to buy a gallon of blackstrap for $22 bucks off Amazon. I visited my local hydro store and walked out with a $28 gallon of this stuff:

I know there are a lot of snake oil products out there but this looked pretty good, a fortified molasses with seaweed and yucca extract. Not much out there on it but I bought it so it'll be put to use.

It says it can be foliar fed, curious about that. I'm in mid flower with low humidity and a gentle intake flowing up through the canopy so I'm okay on moisture I think, but curious if I should foliar. It'd be only 5ml per gal so not too heavy. I'll be doing 5ml per gal watering too. I'd not go overboard on foliar, probably just a couple times. Thoughts on foliar?

Would you like to smoke molasses sprayed weed? it can be foliar sprayed in veg bot flower. If you want to spray it in veg make a tea with it and try that. Just sugar wont do much.

I like the idea of sticky sweet buds, but yeah what happens come smoke time. thanks I'll think it over, prolly not a wise idea

Molasses will not make sticky sweet buds - old school hippie myth!
You would do better with a Mag Sulphate or a K Sulphate based supplement for trich's and terps..

Molasses basically feeds the living bio's in the soil - if they are alive in the first place!

Seaweed is micro nutes with organic plant hormones and amino acids, with vits available (B vits).

Yucca is generally a wetting agent and has some sugars that will again - feed the living bio's

Sounds like the product would be a good tea ingr. Nice for transplants and seedlings...

This is popular around here -

8TBL organic Epsom
1 1/2 tsp Organic Dark Brown sugar
1 gallon RO water
1 Opaque gallon jug - sanitized

Bring to a full boil 4 cups of the water and ad the other ingr. boil for several min. until dissolved.

Pour the solution into the jug containing the rest of the water and shake well!

Bingo -Organic "Sweet Raw", Terpinator, etc!

Week before the flip = 5 ml per gallon
Weeks 1,2,3 10 ml
Weeks 4-6 15 ml
20ml till harvest

Thanks doc I'll try that next time. So the Epsom in it helps trics and terp?

Thanks I'll keep things clean, tent in an upstairs bedroom hopefully little shits are outside and freezing or dead

I know right. I was skeptical about the foliar good thing I asked, there's no magic in a bottle that defies that simple fact
