A ? for HLG Diablo 200 users

Glad to see that Padawan still realizes that the O.P. (me) is still here! I must admit; this thread has turned into T.M.I. (too much information), though I still find it informative. Here is what I've got so far:
1. The Diablo 200 is a killer unit, albeit, with some "controversy" over the dimmability. That is fixable or controllable, one way or another.
2. Replacing the driver (for the "correct" model) would solve the controversy - best choice!

I don't have a tent, I have a purpose built growbox. It is "modular" so I can add a section, or drop a section, and make it any height I want. I'm thinking 6 ft. (or 2 meters) should be enough. What is the current RIU Discount code for HLG, I like to save money? That very light you suggest was my 2nd choice overall, I just thought that the Diablo 200 had a little extra kick. Plus a little more "Red spectrum" light.
The discount code doesn't work wiith the 200. But the code is RIU10. The 200 looks like a great light. If you wanted to dim it. You could get the light and slate from HLG and a driver from somewhere else too. After all this confusion, I'd probably just get the 150 driver if I did that, but it's not as powerful as the 200 that it comes with.

The 135 goes up to around 150 anyways, but the spread is a little better on the 648.

Both are good choices I think.

I think we covered this, but i bought the standalone board before they stopped selling them like that.
Then shortly afterwards bought the second. I ran those in parallel on the same driver. There was no 200 kit then

I know you said you bought the board and slate kit. That's why I was confused. What driver did you use when they were at 200 a piece?

Sorry for the shitshow, but if you're not scared to do a little wiring I'd grab the 648 w slate for like $130 after the RIU10 code. And then I'd get the XLG-150-H and a little wiring. Should be sweet in there. And it's dimmable. You could easily put the driver outside the tent too.

Edit: I'd double check with HLG though to make sure it's dimmable though. Just send them an email or try to hit up one of the reps on here.

Actually if the 200-H-A that the 200 comes with can't be dimmed, the 150 H I'm sure can't be either. I don't know what it is about the 648's that I'm having such a problem grasping, lol.

You know what. Screw it and just spend another $85 and get this, lol. This is even better. These will be my next lights.

Turn it past a certain point and you're in maxed out driver mode. I know, I have an xlg-240 that freaks out when I turn Io up past 260W, but its still dimmable.
Had to double check, my xlg-240-h-ab goes up to 310W at 75% dimming, go past that and it drops to 0.
