OK this plant is about a month old its a little small because I had some light issues but those are solved now. The new leaves are light green with blue veins and it seems to be stunting the growth a bit. Also a white dust or mold is appearing on the top soil of all my plants, any ideas?

What kind of soil are you using? (i.e. is there perlite or vermiculite in there?). Your feeding blooming fertilizer to vegetative plants. High phosphorus is good for seedlings (for the roots) and budding (for the buds) right now your plant wants Nitrogen. Get a plant fertilizer that is even (20-20-20) or an all purpose (24-8-16). Also read the instruction on the fertilizer. You probably shouldn't give it to the plant more than once a week also i would dilute in it a little more than the instructions say if its a chemical fertilizer.

P.S. Is the soil able to drain properly (are there holes in the pot and is it off the ground?) It looks like you need more light as well.

you can let tap water sit out for 24 hours and the chlorine will evaporate and its pretty safe to use. its what i do

ok thanks, yea I have had some drainage problems before but Im getting new pots tomorrow, I am still using the same soil as i started with, it was a seed starting potting mix by miracle grow

if your soil is by miracle grow there are probably nutrients in there all ready. Check the bag. If there are be careful on giving them any extra.

yeah get something with Nitrogen in it. High in Nitrogen. You don't need Phosphorus until they flower. Also like i said read the instruction on the fertilizer you probably shouldn't feed the plants more than once a week, and if there are all ready nutrients in your soil (Miracle Grow) give them even less fertilizer. Also i would get good drainage for that pot and flush it so all those fertilizers you have in there now are gone and you have a "blank slate" so to speak.

P.S. Let the soil get a little dry in between watering so that mold build-up inst a possibility.

you can reuse the soil just make sure you run alot of water through the soil before you reuse it since there will be a buildup of salts in the soil that will case nute lock

Any plant food with 20-20-20 is good for veg growing just use 8th strength at 1 month old
