I'm looking at this for my 5x5. This is a pic of the back.It doesn't have a intake hose so my question is, will it be ok with this unit drawing it's source for air out of a 90-93° room? I didn't know if it would have any negative effects on the unit

How much shipping is idk
Claims zero for shipping on the first checkout screen but I wasn't going past that. Please let me know how it works out, I'm always paranoid ordering from a new place for me.

But yeah, that looks like a hell of a deal for a great unit assuming it's all on the up and up.

Right now I'm growing at night to avoid the heat of the day. But I'll be harvesting in a month and then going to a new place which has central air. That might be enough for me.

Will do. I'm hoping to get it next week. I'm still a ways from flowering but I'll be putting it to use. My grow gets up to 93 on a hot day but I'm trying not to vent. So far they're doing good though. The reviews I read on it was positive. It made me question it for the price, one review said their Honeywell lasted them 5 years so they purchased another. Hopefully it wasn't one of their sales reps talking shit for ratings lol.

Venting that air conditioner puts out way more smell than a vent with a carbon filter if your house is already at a decent temp.

I wouldn't trust that site. There is no way they can sell that air conditioner for that price. A comparable one at Home Depot is $679.

That site is a scam. Private domain registration and the address they have listed on their website is a ranch style house in a residential neighborhood. If it sounds too good to be true.... $99 and free shipping for a piece of equipment that size and weight? No way in hell.

My grow is in the back room of my garage. It's insulated, So 86-93° is what it's averaging depending on the weather. 88° majority of the time. I'm going for a sealed room so I was trying to save an exhaust for the last resort because of Co2. But if this is more of a smell issue then I'll be exhausting

Looks like a scam site, beware!
I'm glad you looked at the site better than I did. I only glanced through at the list while at work. Didn't get to actually look through the sight. I was questioning the price. Because I can't find a used 10,000 btu for muchess than 200 on ebay

Some A/Cs on Amazon are available on monthly payments plans.

It’s going to blow your c02 right out along with the smell. All the single hoses portables do. And most of the dual hose ones will as well just not as bad. You need a mini split.

If you have good led lights and good air movement, just jack your humidity up to like 75% and forget the ac, especially if you are going to use supplemental co2. My room is similar but 8x10, in the summer it is consistently 87-91° and 73-75% in there. If i ran my ac it wouldnt cool it off that much but it would suck the moisture out of the air, and it always seemed like it was leaking the hot exhaust when i ran it. I have a 10,000 btu portable LG but its unplugged in my veg room right now. I just follow vpd charts for the temps i have and adjust humidity and light intensity accordingly. It feels hot and muggy as fuck in there to me but it also seems to me that the plants like those conditions; the leaves pray like a tv evangelist. If you mind your vpd high temps arent really that scary. Once theyre acclimated, its really only when you get drastic environmental changes up or down from there that you risk problems and have to make adjustments so you dont stress them or get mildew or bud mold.

I dont know how well this works with HID, so if you dont have LED youre a fucking caveman and i hope you fry your shit! lol jk

Invest in a good heater for the winter instead of an ac for the summer. I love growing in the summer. If you run led you have to pay for this kind of heat during the winter.

We had a cold snap a week or two ago with some rain etc, daytime outside temps got down to the high 60s low 70s from the mid to high 80s. My room temps plummeted. I turned on the heater in my room because everybody started drooping slightly. I was also worried about hitting dew point and getting mold or mildew. It sometimes seems fucked up to me that i worry more about low temps now than high ones.
