So my 1st grow (outdoors) all seem pretty healthy, but I'd like them to be more bushy. I am familiar with topping which I have done and I have bent the plants down so the branches shoot up (both worked very well). But can I do some more clipping to make more branches come out of other branches or do you have any advice??

Thanks for any input, and I'm sure this has been asked dozens of times but I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. :-P

Have you try'ed pinching the stem? if you havn't its called super cropping' if you pinch the stem but not hard enough to put your finger nail into the stem' what that does is make all the leaves below the pinch it makes the leaves go bushy so, it concentrates all the growing on the leaves below the pich and sends them into a growing frency and all that plant does is grow grow grow, hope that helps if you havn't already done it? apart for topping, pinching the stem, and tying it down i cant think of anything else, dont mean there isnt just coz i dont know, you know what i mean lol scunk

theres is supercropping as the above answer said and theres also LST which stands for low stress training and unlike super cropping can be done way later in the plants life, both basically have the same outcome , look up some youtube videos theyll explain it all

Thanks, sounds easy enough I'll give pinching a try.

Can I trim branches the same way I topped the plant to make more branches come out of the main branches???

Yes but in the end you'll end up with a lot of smaller nuggies. If that's what u want I mean. And dry weight totals might come in at about the same. If I could grow outside I would prune to get huge colas as I love bagging them up and seeing people's reactions.

Thanks for the reply, definitely would rather have the stout colas. Any advice on pruning to achieve this?
