A Better Photo Of My N Toxicity From Yesterday

I took a better photo last night to show you guys the issue. Its a really strange looking plant.

I flushed last night. For some reason it seems like my plant was not buried deep enough cause it's been leaning from the main stem pretty hard....I had to add NEW FFOF on top to bury it further. Im going to wait as long as I can before next water since I just flushed and this new top soil is going to re introduce nutrients.

Any advice on the new soil I put on top since Ill be switching to flower soon? wait another 4 weeks like FFOF says?

Flush makes it worse you just released more nutes into it, and then adding more soil that has ferts in it my lord. All you need to do is lay off the nutes and just give it pure PH'd water until you see it healed. But it may be to far gone now.

I flushed BEFORE adding the new top soil. That shouldnt release any NEW nutes.

Actually, I am of the opinion that flushing "leaches out" or removes the nitrogen and is the proper thing to do in the case of toxicity. When you have a nitrogen "overdose", your plant will work through it as long as you stop adding nutes.

Now, since you flushed, your plant should start lifting its leaves straight out and maybe even up, like its stretching. Your job now as a caring parent is to watch your plant, I said "watch", don't do anything else right now, it will tell you when it needs something. When the leaves start to droop a little, but not too much, then it is ready for something. In your case, since you added more FFOF, I would say you need to give it pH'd water next time and possible the time after that, depending on the amount of soil you had to add. Then after those one or two drinks, I would go 1/2 strength on the nutes and see how she responds.

These are just my thoughts....

Good luck and keep us posted!

Thanks, this is the plan. I'm going to wait as long as I can before the next water.....as that water should release more N due to the new soil.

Just wanted to make sure, we are still thinking nitrogen toxicity now that you have seen a " better" photo?

also remember, as soil dries, the salinity increases
had you been feeding the plant a lot but also letting it dry out a little to much?
