Starting my grow journal for this year!
working with some new strains purchased online and from dispensaries and some new strains from some of my favorite local growing legends!!

Update 4/10
Began tieing ladies down for scrog training and prep.
Prepping for the season outside
Have all my pots with a great organic mixture of some of the natural dirt, sunflower compost from a local greenhouse and garden center Lamma guano Happy Frog, and Fox Farm about 25% of each
Some with more fox farm then others. Some with more Happy Frog etc ( for experimental purposes)
Have been working with Fox Farm Nutrients for a few years now and have been lookin for something new and effectively rewarding.
Trying Advanced Nutrients out?
Any thoughts
Bought the Hobbyist pack from Advanced nutrients containing Big Bud, overdrive, B52, and Voodoo Juice! Should come in some time this week with the Dutch Passion Seeds aswell!
Excited to use some cannabis specific nutrients this year!

Went to see a friend and local GOAT
Came back with some more new strains to work with this year and can’t wait to try them out

Expecting some sprouts over the next couple days!
Back to the nutrient lineup
I hear all kinds of great things about Bud candy and big bud being used together
Wasn’t able to snag the bud candy this time
Maybe before these flower I will be able to if need be.
Hoping to see improvement in a final product.
Purchased 4 Trellis Nets
Going to used Four T Posts around the plants going to 35-55 Gal fabric pots and line the sides of my rows in the gar using either the net to the TPost or bungee cords on the corners around the t posts for forgiveness and elasticity.
Thoughts?!

Journal update
So this happened lol
Lots more ladies than expected to were full prepping the garden

Was out pounding t posts in were these pallets are going to go to create a little pallet fence around our garden.
Mainly for wind protection/ reduction in any way.
so it goes like this...
Was on my last t post for the day.
even the last couple hits.
I really wanted this one so I was” driving it home” ya know, givin it a wee bit extra somethin somethin,
Wasn’t wearing gloves
Pulled the t post pounder up to high
Went to slam the post
And missed.
Bazingaa!!!

Tbh
I Shouldn't have a middle finger now
Sliced me wide open
Down to the bone
Should have crushed it .
Or cut it clear off.
But just skimmed it.
Lucky me!
Not that theres much of anything else in the fingers lol
But by the grace of god
It missed all tendons and bones
9 stitches
And a tetanus shot later
I learned


1-The ladies like a little wind break lol.
Not just abuse from the elements.
2-Deep breathes can keep things like this from happening.
3- shit happens when you party naked
4-that I love gardening. And would do it all again
But#5!!!!!!
dammit WEAR GLOVES when your doing anything fence related, wire pulling, or shoveling.
I’d take em off for that one on one with the ladies
But remember to put them back on lol!
Or you might not be as lucky as me!

Garden looks phenomenal there are plants everywhere!!!
And got atleast ten more strains to work with

And in the garden we Even have a WHORLED PHYLLOTAXY
Coming in with the three leaves off the start!

“This kind of mutation is also very pretty. Cannabis plants have a great deal of natural geometry. This mutation creates a slightly different kind. Regular plants have two leaves that grow from each internode. Whorled phyllotaxy plants have three leaves instead. Plants with a whorled phyllotaxy tend to be extra bushy. That said, the trait is not useful to breeders as it can lead to greater yields, but will disappear once attempted to be bred and replicated. “- Royal crown seeds

Got a Item #9 to pop yesterday and so did willy
Same day I got my 9 stitches from the tpost in the garden.
Neat little backstory for our legendary mystery strain that my buddy is Keeping in his back pocket so I’ll keep coming back !
And I love it !
Threw a peice of trellis net over the haole attached by bamboo in four corners
I’ll update pics of it later today a!
Exploring with that one!
Excited to see the results!
Hoping more seeds pop inside but we will see!
Gonna give them as much time as I can .
Enjoying the idea of working with over 30 different strains this year!

Update 4/18
Went and bought some MYKOS WP and soil today
Immediately did two transplants with it on some ladies my friend threw me yesterday aswell
Ones a Clementine Kush from Colorado Seed Bank and the other is another one of is WS OG#1s
The soil was Happy Frog!
I hear great things about the mycorrhizae and had to pull the trigger on some!
If it works well and I like the results!
I’ll use it on all our transplants from now on!
Anyone else tried this Mykos WP or the Great white Shark brand and care to share your experience?
This was way cheaper and had more in the bag
The reviews I could find sounded just as good as the shark stuff. Opinions?!
Re netted the Haole because I didn’t like the spacing on the 6 inch squares trellis. So I went and bought a 3x3inch squares 15’ x5net and cut the old one off and re tucked it!
And have lots extra!

Really liking the jump in undergrowth on the ladies I topped and LST ‘d!
Ecspecially the female WS OG #1
Have a few of those
Have had one show male and this one female looks great after the top! Lots of undergrowth today looking forward to the Bush these things will become
Noticing favorably quick and strong growth in comparison to the rest of the seeds I popped on the same day out of the Tangerine x Blueberry seedling! Look strong and dominant!
Might have to work some breeding in a cutting of it this year
so far so good! Hopefully stays that way!
