90w LED UFO light vs. 1000w HPS

right now im using a 1000w HPS with a 1000w adjustable lumatek ballast with a vortex 6 in exaust fan. my electricity bill is through the roof and i was told that not only are the ufo's more energy efficient and self cooling, but they have all of the spectrum thats needed whereas plants only use about 15% of the spectrum an hps provides. my question is ufo and sell the hps or keep the hps?

You're going to want to buy at least 4 more UFO's to equal the yield/ surface area that your 1000watt HPS produces.

I would replace it with a t5 fluorescent fixture. Its the only proven way to supplement HID lighting and save energy.

adjust the ballast down so its at lowest setting and go with that ..... i would stay with the hps
