I have just added my second 400watt HPS light to my 2'wx7'wx8'h closet grow room. I am in my first week of flowering my 4 Super Lemon Haze plants. The attached diagram has all the info on the grow. My problem is my room gets up to 93 degrees during the day. The ambient house temperature is always 76 degrees. Do I need more fans? Or do I need a dedicated fresh air intake for the lights from the bedroom? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

im in a very similar situation where i live its really hard to keep temps down in the summer (110 degrees last 2 days) My plants are in a constant 82-99 degree environment and they seem to be doing rather well. looking at ur diagram though i noticed ur temp meter in above the lights. is there a remote sensor next to the plants or does it take its readings from the unit itself? im only asking becasue if you put the guage next to the plants i guarantee it 10-15 degerees hotter and then yeah you might have problems. and yes more fans should help ...a bit. might think about a small a/c unit???

How are they holding up to the heat so far? Are you timing your light cycle around the hottest times of day? Where I live it doesn't usually get hot until around noon so having the lights on 10pm-10am or even 12am-12pm is best to keep temps down. I have one SLH that I just started flowering 2 days ago. Temps get up to around 85 lately but so far so good :)

i dunno man,i'm dealing with heat at the moment too,it's a toss up between buying a bigger extaraction fan for me,or just waiting until the warm weather subsides,i really can't justify spending money on a bigger fan for a problem i only encounter for 2 months a year,i'm growing super skunk, and their is sign that they are been affected by the heat as i have a good air circulation fan.my temp goes as high as 92f but drops back to 72f over the course of the day!!

Now my two plants in my right bucket are wilting? Is it due to heat? Or could it be a salt buildup from the nutrients? I'm using Advanced Nutrients Micro, Grow, Bloom, and Carboload

Bump your exhaust fan up to a 6" fan. That 4" isn't pulling enough air in from the vents to cool your set up.
