8'x8' grow room

I plan on growing 6 plants at a time in a 8'x8' grow room. Has anyone designed a grow room of this size c/w ventilation diagrams, number of lamps and lamp size? wall covering etc. etc. I plan on growing plants in soil. This will be my first attempt at this. Thanks for any help.

My garden is considerably larger than 8X8. I'm sure you are looking at many different floor plans online. I save a ton of money by buying CFL bulbs by the case at 99 cent stores. I use the 24-26 watt size. For flowering I use HPS bulbs driven by digital ballasts. Digital ballasts have worked great for me for the past 3 years. They don't run hot and are not as loud as the old kind. Digital ballasts last a lot longer before they degenerate and provide less and less output as time go by.

jeez 8 by 8...i wish i had that much room to grow in, friend i grow 6-7 plants at a time in a 4 by 2 area, so while u can grow only six or so plants you could just make them super big i would suggest a few more or you will end of vegging a little bit, either way it doesnt matter im just sayin, i have less than half that area almost and i grow about 7 or 8 at a time. comfortably as well

First off.. how much $ you have?

I would go with 600 bulbs as that way you can have two rows of 3' wide with area between to walk. 4 AC 600 hoods total, 6 if you really want to blast them with light.

6 plants trained through SCROG screen.

50' of panda film $35
two dual 600 digital ballasts = $500
four AC hoods with ducting = $600
three 6" fans.. one for ducting, one for cooling inlet, one for cooling outlet = $300
temperate controller for cooling fans $80
8 bulb HO t5 for clones and early veg $200
two 16" oscillating fans $60
Wiring for 240 circuit for ballast and timers $150
Scrog Screen materials $70

So your in the neighborhood of 2K. If you don't have any grow supplies... PH, PPM meters, measuring cups, containers, scissors, nutes, cleaners, add another $500

Money is a concern but only when it comes to due diligence. In other words I have the time to shop around for materials and equipment etc. What I am after is a diagram showing how to position fans and venting system etc. I like your idea of 2 rows I could walk between...that way I can access from both sides. Any other help is very much appreciated.
