8x8 grow room. Advise on setting it up

I just built a 8x8 grow room. Before I built this room i was growing in a 4x4 tent with a 400 watt hps. I had two plants in this tent and they gave me about 2 oz a plant. The only problem with the tent is that is small and i needed more space. I also have 3 leds that i use to start my plants with. Also included in the grow room is a 10,000 btu air conditioner with 3 18 in circular fans and a 20 in box fan. I would like some advise on how to set this room up properly. I would like to have two diferent areas, a flowering and a veg room. Can anyone help me out with lighting recommendations, placement of lights, proper lights to use? Im trying to limit my wattage to under 2000 watts if possible but i can go a little higher if needed. The plants im about to grow.. royal purple kush, blue cheese, ak-48, and a northern lights x skunk cross. All feminised. Can someone please give me advise on the best way to set this room up so I can smoke some good gonja?

Build a wall. Leave a 5x8 for for flower and 3x8 for veg. Or build a 4x5 room in that room and use that as veg. There is countless ways to do this. But can you draw a quick pic of where the door is and anyother openings? Also where your AC is. That might help narrow your options down

I have told others this and would appricate any and all feedback. Lighting, I use a t5 until the plant is about 15-20 inches tall, I also use vodo juice during that same period. Than I switch out to a 400 watt hps, plants are 5-6 feet when it is harvest time and the yeild is giant. I feel because they grow slow under the t5 period the root system gets big and when the switch happens it goes like 2 inches a day. Works for me.

chris, i do the same thing with my led lights. Alot of people seem to hate on the leds but i use them until the plant is a foot tall, then switch straight to my hps. I have excellent results with this as well.

I dont have any pics up yet. I dont know exactly where to put my a/c. I know it will have to go on the right side of the room because that is where ventalation will be easily installed. The a/c unit i have is dual vented. I dont know exactly what this means but from everthing i have read, it brings in enough fresh air and gets rid of old air well enough where i shouldnt need extra venting. The room wont be 100 percent sealed off, close though. I have an old garage outside my house and i just went in and constructed a room inside of it. Do you think i will need extra venting for this room?

If you that AC you might have smell issues. I do with my window unit. But I don't worry about it. You might want to think about building a hot room to dump the hot stinky air. And have a fan and filter pulling it out the top and a vent in the bottom pulling some of the cool air in from around it. Also you can dump the hot air from lights there. It dosnt have to be big just enough for your AC to fit. And have a fan rated twice the cfm of it to help keep it as cool as possible. That's just one option.
