8x4x6.5 Tent Setup

Hi Everyone,

Looking to start my grow and looking at this size tent 8Longx4Widex6.5Tall.

Wanted to go with 2each of the Bestva elite-1200watt light but was told those won’t do the job and got sent to the LED section for advise.

Your best bet is to go look on youtube at grows and go from there.
The second you start talking about a brand, or watts, or tent size in lighting, you're going to have a hard time getting advice.

You want at least 25 watts per square foot of garden area for flowering. Tent is 8'x4'=32 square feet. You need 25w X 32sq' = 800 watts of light.

Bestva elite-1200 draws 257.6 Watts from the wall / assuming electrical efficiency of 90% / => about 231 watts of light ...so you need at least 3, probably 4 of these lights. $179 each @amazon.

Just buy some Samsung f series modules and a few drivers build your own

Buy whatever you want and build your own.

Hey guys I really appreciated the info and ended up downsizing to a 5x5 and went with a few electric sky es300 . Wish me luck.
